Russ missed the playoff twices when in OKC and 1 was with KD. Hmmmmm ....

No one said he is the "problem". So you're confirming what we've all been saying which is that Russ doesn't make teams better despite his "monster numbers"? Thank you.

No that's not what anybody is saying at all and a ridiculous conclusion to draw from that. Y'ALL the one trying to use this season as a referendum on his entire career foolishly again as this is only the SECOND time he's ever been on a losing squad. Reasonable people can admit his flaws, his shortcomings, etc. Even as one of his biggest fans I've acknowledged those but to pinpoint to THIS season as an "I told you so" is dumb as hell quite frankly. Especially when there's another guy on his team now that can even moreso be accused of plundering in a pirate raid.

This season isn't an "I told you so" because we've BEEN telling you. You just weren't trying to hear it

Nah even when the advanced metrics favored Russ Y'ALL still called it stat padding and downplayed what he was doing. Just say you don't like him and his style of play, it's blatantly obvious at this point. He's a polarizing dude, it is what it is.

I have. Numerous times. Definitely about his style of play. I wouldn't say I dislike him though. What I dislike is people mistakenly acting like his scowling, being a **** to the media, etc. somehow means he wants to win more than other NBA players.

Championships aren't that spread around enough foor me to care if a guy gets one or not. If I was a player too, give me all my money. If a ring happens, great. If not, cash me out

2000-2010- Spurs or Lakers have 8, with 04 Pistons, 06 Heat and 08 Celtics being outliers
2011- Dallas Mavericks
2012-2021- LeBron led, Steph led, or Kawhi Lead

Nothing backed you up on it though at least during the regular season. It was just y'all hating. Playoffs are their own entity.

is making the PO a great feat when you getting bounced out in the 1st half the time? Asking for a friend

Winning counts more than Individual Stats. I'd say if Russ begins winning games rather costing them the game, I doubt the slander would continue. although Russ is spoiled if he believes that he is being singled-out. Best Defender of All Time Draymond is getting more heat than him.

Oh. So NOW you want to focus on the regular season and isolate them from them from the playoffs?

Crossiant Cato gets criticism like everybody else that gets fried in the playoffs for not performing up to regular season standards.
Bucks are going to do their regular season thing as always.
Not worried about regular season Russ at all

I've been doing that goofy guy. I've said as much today. It's why Harden has got it from me as well. Giannis last year after his historic statistical season. The stupid article you posted is referencing how the numbers he's putting up now aren't translating to wins on the Wizards right now. Therefore the 'empty stats' that you and your cohorts are pointing out. That HASN'T been the case in the regular season before he got to the Wizards. I've acknowledged on multiple occasions his decision making and shortcomings in the playoffs.

What does that Wizards team have to do with the OKC squad Dame and the Blazers knocked out of the playoffs 3 years ago?

And if we’re really going to go down this road, Dame has kept his team in the playoff picture in the West all season despite his the next best players on his team being Robert Covington and Washed Melo for long stretches.

The Wizards aren’t even in a playoff spot in the far inferior Eastern conference.

Let me give them cliffs:

Very well said. The masses are finally starting to see it and the jig is up. I find this interesting because if he really doesn't care about rings and his focus is on being a life champion, no way he takes a buyout and doesn't cash in that $47MM Player Option.

One of the three highest-paid players in the league agreeing to a buyout with a full two seasons left on his deal is as bad as it gets for the NBAPA. I hope he does not do it.

No way in hell he does this, far too much money on the table. Him and Beal can continue their style of basketball on the Wizards.
