Those look like the Virgil Abloh KD 15s.
Didn't think these were released and were a PE only.

If we get a retro 3 sometime soon please let them not do the yellow vintage midsole treatment. Got lime doesn’t mesh well with that yellowing.

If that was a size 10, pretty sure that was one of 4 pairs I bought off eBay in 1998 to share between Alex and me. Mine are LONG gone but he kept everything

the shape of the new pair is nice in person but I have a hard time buying something that looks more worn or aged than my last pair

especially at full price

I still expect to see these on sale in some capacity after they keep releasing them in small increments

This color blocking is perfect. They need to release this sample or at least use this color blocking with a different colorway.

If not as limited I feel like Nike wouldn't use the same quality.

What is encouraging is that Nike is making efforts to have a shape as close as the original one.
This hot lava version is by far the best retro in term of shape.

Its crazy how Nike used to have the same standard original shape for all their og colorways and somehow now they selectively choose which colorways get the “og treatment” and some of the other original retro colorways do not.

The aged midsole color on these aren't bad. It's subtle. They also didn't 'age' the toe, unlike the Lava's.

If the Lava's had this same aged color I would have copped.

Nike did too damn good tho on the Lava's matching the orange-ish aging, but it looks terrible IMO.
