Seems like boring wife just wasn't ready to be a wife. That talk with boring dude wasn't making a lot of sense. It didn't seem like dude was rushing her to act like they been married a year. Its just they smashed so you'd expect some closer-ness.

Haley doing something similar to Chris when claimed to his family he did with Paige. Having sex thinking it's gonna make them closer or make her like Jacob more and then when it didn't she didn't know what to do. So now she's being distant while there, while he left for hours the next day. I actually like Jacob more after this episode. Dude is still weird, but he's going into this with his head on straight and trying to communicate and dig into what the deal is.
I just finished reading that book Modern Romance and they found in that, the biggest key to success in an arranged marriage is that while they tend to start off lukewarm they commit to the relationship and investing in each other and letting feelings and things grow as time goes on, where Haley wants to feelings first without the effort of commitment. She's thinking I could have done better on my own, even tho I was single for 7 years. I noticed they didn't show their date either, which means it was probably boring. Jacob needs to get some outside excitement in there if he wants any hope.
Can't even feel bad for Paige at this point when she starts smiling cause Chris says he's "spiritually attracted to you" after telling her he'd could go back to his ex tomorrow. I bet he is spiritually attracted to you, cause he knows that's all it takes to manipulate you.
Chris reminds me of Jameis Winston. He's also a dude who never makes a good point, but thinks he's smarter than everyone. Virginia is annoying and is pushing people's buttons. Erik needs to know when to step in and bring the maturity to the relationship. I didn't have a problem with him at dinner, as he was real direct and calm, but Virginia's energy coming across asking people to do shots while Erik tries to have a serious conversation definitely didn't help. He needs to stop trying to keep up with her and her energy or it's gonna cause problems. Seemed like he's letting it slide on the honeymoon cause he did say he's not gonna live like this once they're back.

If they're vetting process is so thorough, why didn't they find out that Mia from the Dallas season had outstanding warrants and she couldn't leave the country for her honeymoon? Why didn't they find out that Christina from the New Orleans season was literally homeless and living in her car?
