🦅 THE PHILADELPHIA EAGLES THREAD 🦅 | Training Camp underway

We should give Carson 3 yeets a week. Regardless of outcome. Gotta build the rapport somehow

Being first in this trash division means Howie is gonna trade a mid round pick for a mediocre player

Weeks 11-15 gonna be brutal, let alone the rest of the season

The thing is the division is so trash that with 3 more divisional games we can easily go 2-1 assuming we lose to the Cowboys with Dalton. That puts the team at 5 wins. We can win this horrible division at 6 wins if we luck out a win against one of the week 11-15 games.

This fit trash no wonder

This year of Wentz reminds me of Amare Stoudemire on the Knicks. He was having a solid season when he first got signed and then the following season he focused on bulking in the off season. Tried to get stronger to bully in the paint and his mid range jumper was way off after. Not saying that's the only reason Wentz is struggling but he kept talking about how he lifted weights heavy to improve his strength to avoid injury. That extra arm power could be why his throws keep sailing.

I feel like all the hits he’s taking are starting to wear on him. This is the worst he’s ever looked. He’s playing like he has to do it all on one play and like we have Tyreek Hill at receiver. These coaches are not hard on him and clearly baby him all week in practice because he hasn’t improved on his mistakes since week 1.

Play calling is definitely a massive issue too. You watch virtually any team with a receiver as fast as Reagor and there's AT LEAST one play deep downfield where the speedster is one on one. How Reagor was unable to get 1 on 1 on a deep play aside from the late TD drop is insane. And it wasn't even really a deep throw. It was like 20-30 yards.

Carson has been very bad. No denying that. Struggles are partly his, partly Howie, majority Doug

Can’t remember the last time the offense was called smoothly without wasting downs trying to get cute. It’s like you can tell Carson is being told to try to feed certain players (Hightower) and when he doesn’t (like throw to Fulgham) it works lol we wasting draft picks/money on a 2nd round QB/2 washed WRs/washed OL etc
