You don't even need 6 above average pass rushers. Dude thinks all you need is to pressure the QB in a league where most top tier QBs can throw with pressure in the pocket. This isn't 1997 where most QBs aren't mobile enough to avoid a sack. We need 3 great rushers and that's it. Put more focus and money into the secondary and LBs and **** the pass rush

Gerry has the worst football IQ of anyone I've seen in a long time. He runs a 4.6 and 30 inch vertical. By comparison, Luke Kuechly ran a 4.58 when he was drafted. So Athleticism isn't his glaring weakness. He's just dumb as **** when it comes to reading plays or being able to make instant decisions in situations where if he makes the right choice he gets a stop.

Yup. he has a lot of plays where he's in the vicinity of the open man but just guesses wrong and gets burned. That's really 70% of what being a good defensive player is; instincts. His instincts are terrible and it shows. And that's not something you can teach.

Will Parks was activated so hopefully dude shows some skill back there. Even if we continue to suck it would be nice to have a safety that can compliment McLeod considering how bad the secondary has played.

Waddle is a beast but with our luck it'll be a repeat of CeeDee and dude will fall a few spots and get scooped right before our pick. I'd gladly give a team Ertz to move up for Waddle if he's on the board and a team before us is projected to grab him.

I think Doug needs to showcase his play calling if he wants to be here long term. I feel like winning that ring gave him a cushion where he can have all the underachieving and still be safe but you gotta at least lose with the team being competitive and aggressive. You can't keep losing bc you're throwing slants all game.
