Kendrick is rapping about growing up in Compton around bloods and crips, black issues on Jazz, funk, hip hop beats.
Only thing they have in common is both of 'em are successful.

Nas and Kendrick got different rap styles. Nas got that east coast vibe while Kendrick on the west coast post g funk sound. Plus I don't recall Kendrick trying to act mafioso at one point. Nelly had stripclub anthems. Drake got simp anthems.
