But this place will go crazy no matter what the outcome. As bad as it gets when Pac wins; imagine what happens when/if he loses
Pac stans already got their responses excuses typed up. And Pac haters will be quick to throw Manny underthe bus and call him a 'bum' or 'thrash'. Thats just how the game goes.

^ No hate, but do you honestly watch boxing at all? I could care less if you just watch for the sake of following Pacquaio but if you did you would know howmuch of a difference losing just one or two pounds more could make.
And the point is, if Manny wants to campaign and claim he is the best welterweight and can beat the top welterweights HE needs to campaign and fight at THEIRweight. He's not the champion in this fight.

I searched all over my post but couldn't for the life of me find where i said Cotto would be a dead man at 145, could you please highlightthat piece for me? thanks so much.
I was explaining for MaxElite why Pacquiao wouldn't fight Cotto at 147, that is the explanation, period. I do not think Cotto will be a dead man at 145. Ithink he will be at slightly less than peak condition because he's always been a pretty big weight cutter, but getting this at 145 was huge for the Cottocamp. If it would have been at 143, Cotto would have been in big trouble. The man had to damn near sever a limb to make 140 3 years ago, so if he would haveto have gone over halfway back for the fight he would've been a skeleton. Those extra two pounds at 145 are gonna be huge for Cotto.
Look, i don't like Manny Pacquiao fans. This is no secret on here. I've been trying to annoy the fanboys for years. Because of this i root againstManny so i don't have to hear the idiots talk afterwards. But i always shoot straight when making predictions or giving analysis. I actually scoredManny-JMM 2 for manny (barely), i knew he was gonna wipe the floor with David Diaz, I was calling EARLY that Manny was gonna absolutely murder Hatton. I thinkCotto wins this fight and wins it convincingly. I think that because i believe he is the better fighter at this weight and has a great combination of powerand ring smarts. It is not because i secretly want to burn the Filipino flag or anything stupid like that. Your boy is not Jesus, stop thinking everyoneshould be on their knees in front of him like you are.

true, but i am a little bit more vocal about it than most of the other guys around here, which occasionally leads to problems such as this one
. I may have come off a bit too salty, but i've barely been able to postthe last few months, and the first one i make in a few weeks gets a manny fanboy to come back at me. Perfect combination for a short fuse.
