Yeah, I'm not worried about not getting him. I was just saying. I don't understand it.

He's got his own lil' agenda.

And how the hell did Eric Berry's lil' bro commit to UT already? Dude is like 12/13

Talk about it in Premium Recruiting Board

Ft. Lauderdale (FL) St. Thomas Aquinas cornerback Cody Riggsholds numerous offers from schools around the country. Despite an array of schools to choose from, the four-star has decided to narrow it down to a list of five schools. His five favorites, in order, are Georgia, Florida, Notre Dame, Florida State, and Tennessee.

"Those are my favorite schools," Riggs told Warchant.com. "They all have what I am looking for. It is just the little things that I am now looking at."

Riggs plans to attend Seminole Showtime on July 18th.
The 5-foot-9, 160-pound cornerback talked in-depth about each of his favorites.

Georgia: "Coach Richt and Coach Martinez, they are genuine guys. They are easy to talk to. The campus is beautiful and the stadium is nice. Academically they are good from what I hear but I still have to look more into that. It seems like a nice place to be. Their dorms are, I have never seen dorms as nice as theirs for incoming freshmen. That was real nice. Everything is brand new. It is a family thing at Georgia, they are all looking out for each other."

Florida: "Obviously they have recently won two National Championships. Football is real big up there. The opportunity beyond football when you go to the University of Florida is incredible, you can get a job anywhere if you go to the University of Florida. The campus lifestyle is impressive. I get along with all of the coaches. I got along with Coach Bedford real well. I talked to Major (Wright) and he said it is a great place to be. I like what they are doing over there."

Notre Dame: "It is really Coach Brown, the defensive backs coach, that is really selling me on them. I am attracted to Notre Dame because I went to their spring game and saw their alumni and everything and that was real big for me. To see Joe Montana and all the other famous Notre Dame alumni there, it was real special."

Florida State: "That was my favorite school growing up. Peter Warrick was my favorite player for a long time. They out corners into the league year after year. You can look at any team in the NFL and there is someone from Florida State. The campus lifestyle, everybody talks about it at Florida State, and I have a lot of friends that go to Florida State that aren't necessarily athletes but they say it is a great place to be. It isn't far from home. There are also a lot of religious things going on up there within the program and that is important to me, same thing is going on at Georgia with regard to that. They have a sort of young staff but not to young, they know what they are doing but they can still be at your level."

Tennessee: "To play for the guy (Monte Kiffin) who basically invented one of the best defensive schemes ever, the Tampa 2, is a real big factor for me. You always look to your college coaches to help you understand the game and he has coached at the highest level and he can teach you a lot before you go to the next level. I see a lot of opportunity at Tennessee. The fan base at Tennessee is one of a kind."

Riggs has family ties to a few of his favorites as his brother played at Tennessee, his uncle played at Notre Dame, an aunt attended Florida, and his mother attended Florida State. He said he will listen to any and all advice that they have for him during the recruiting process.

As for his upcoming plans, they include more visits. He still plans to hit the road to check out the two favorites he has yet to see.

"I haven't been to Florida State or Tennessee," Riggs said. "That is why they are on the bottom of my list, because I haven't seen them yet. I am going to Florida State for Showtime and Tennessee will be for an official visit."

This college football season, Riggs plans to take an official visit to all five schools and reach a decision following those visits.

"Game day is real important to me," Riggs said. "I definitely have to see what the schools are like on game day."

As a junior, Riggs recorded 25 tackles, 25 pass breakups and eight interceptions last season as a junior.

soon....
the thing is, Elliott is prolly the best young track prospect in america. He won the 200 in Jr Olympics. if he chose UT, he might focus on Track, and Iwouldnt blame him at all.
James Berry swears Evan will be better than Eric.

mannnn stop.

Even the UT coaches feel Scroggins is a Trojan
Juco QB Lamaison is in the bag for UTk.
and the staff is concentrating on Chase Rettig.

Talk about it in The Tribal Council
Calvin Smith and Corey Lemonier out of Hialeah (Fla.) High School are two of the most heavily recruited prospects in the nation on the defensive line. With scholarship offers from around the country, Lemonier and Smith have countless programs that would love to get the two on campus for a visit.

Corey Lemonier and Calvin Smith visited New Mexico for the weekend.
With that being said, you may be surprised that the duo spent their weekend on the campus of New Mexico visiting head coach Mike Locksley's program.

"It's going good up here," Smith said over the weekend. "I'm enjoying it. The city is nice. I like the campus. The campus is good, the coaches are nice. I liked the players when I met some of them. They're one of the schools I'm considering."

Smith didn't quite know what to expect about the trip but he has been pleasantly surprised by what he has seen.

"I really didn't know anything about them but when we came to visit, it's more than I expected," he said. "It's pretty nice up here."

While it would seem difficult for New Mexico to compete with the other BCS programs that are in the mix with Smith, the relationship with the coaching staff as well as the early playing time does appeal to the interior defender.

"The D-Line coach, I was with him the whole day," he said. "He said we have a guaranteed starting position. I like him, Coach Trotter."

Joining Smith on his visit to New Mexico is Lemonier, a Rivals100 prospect. The two have aligning interests and hope to continue to play together on the next level.

"We've been talking about that," Smith said of playing with Lemonier in college. "That's big. We're going to play together no matter what. We're going to take all of our visits together."

Lemonier has also enjoyed his time on the New Mexico campus. Already he has visited Florida, UCF and USF and hopes to hit up several more schools this summer.

"I'm really trying to go to Tennessee and Pittsburgh," Lemonier said. "Those two really want me to go there. I want to visit Florida State too and probably all the other Florida schools again."

Lemonier has an idea in his head what he will be paying attention to while on these numerous visits.

"I'm checking out the whole atmosphere," he said. "I want to see is it a nice place. Can you actually do something in the town? Are the coaches good people who really care about you?"

Both Lemonier and Smith claim to have no favorites at this point and have no time frame for a decision.

"If I go to a place and really like it or if the coaches seem like good people that I can trust then I may already know what my decision is and I could commit," Lemonier said.
New Mexico though?

Lemonier is 6'5, 223, and runs a 5.06 in the 40 according to his Rivals page. None of that justifies his 5.9 rating, so what the hell is hedoing on the field that is justifying all these offers and the high ranking?

at them visiting New Mexico. ^Also heard this about him, and LyndenTrail may eventuallyrise above him in the rankings.

I have not seen 1 gif from Freek that didn't make me laugh. Some guys are good but he is on another level.

Slow times for Michigan but it looks like they should be getting a commit from '11 Ohio DB Greg Brown. From Fremont Ross, same school as Charles Woodson. Not that type of talent but still a kid that is impressive.

Corey Lemonier is arguably the best DE in the state. Don't let that 40 time fool you.

And Lynden Trail is not better than him IMO. He is in UM's backyard and they offered dude as a TE I believe (somebody correct me if I'm wrong or havehim confused w/ someone else) nor will he be.

He's not playing DE here. He's like 6-7, 200 lbs. Too skinny. I think we're just recruiting him as an athlete though. Other schools are probablylying to him and telling him he can play DE though.

Basically....Trail and Quinton Dunbar have said they're gonna go to the same school together. Dunbar was an early UM commit but he decommitted. Forgot why.

In the end...they both probably end up at Miami.

I think Dunbar had decommitted cause he wasn't completely sure that Miami was the place for him at the time.

So according to him, he didn't want to turn it into the BB show, so he decommitted. But Trail is too skinny for DE anyway.
