Ft. Lauderdale (FL) St. Thomas Aquinas cornerback Cody Riggsholds numerous offers from schools around the country. Despite an array of schools to choose from, the four-star has decided to narrow it down to a list of five schools. His five favorites, in order, are Georgia, Florida, Notre Dame, Florida State, and Tennessee.
"Those are my favorite schools," Riggs told Warchant.com. "They all have what I am looking for. It is just the little things that I am now looking at."

The 5-foot-9, 160-pound cornerback talked in-depth about each of his favorites.
Georgia: "Coach Richt and Coach Martinez, they are genuine guys. They are easy to talk to. The campus is beautiful and the stadium is nice. Academically they are good from what I hear but I still have to look more into that. It seems like a nice place to be. Their dorms are, I have never seen dorms as nice as theirs for incoming freshmen. That was real nice. Everything is brand new. It is a family thing at Georgia, they are all looking out for each other."
Florida: "Obviously they have recently won two National Championships. Football is real big up there. The opportunity beyond football when you go to the University of Florida is incredible, you can get a job anywhere if you go to the University of Florida. The campus lifestyle is impressive. I get along with all of the coaches. I got along with Coach Bedford real well. I talked to Major (Wright) and he said it is a great place to be. I like what they are doing over there."
Notre Dame: "It is really Coach Brown, the defensive backs coach, that is really selling me on them. I am attracted to Notre Dame because I went to their spring game and saw their alumni and everything and that was real big for me. To see Joe Montana and all the other famous Notre Dame alumni there, it was real special."
Florida State: "That was my favorite school growing up. Peter Warrick was my favorite player for a long time. They out corners into the league year after year. You can look at any team in the NFL and there is someone from Florida State. The campus lifestyle, everybody talks about it at Florida State, and I have a lot of friends that go to Florida State that aren't necessarily athletes but they say it is a great place to be. It isn't far from home. There are also a lot of religious things going on up there within the program and that is important to me, same thing is going on at Georgia with regard to that. They have a sort of young staff but not to young, they know what they are doing but they can still be at your level."
Tennessee: "To play for the guy (Monte Kiffin) who basically invented one of the best defensive schemes ever, the Tampa 2, is a real big factor for me. You always look to your college coaches to help you understand the game and he has coached at the highest level and he can teach you a lot before you go to the next level. I see a lot of opportunity at Tennessee. The fan base at Tennessee is one of a kind."
Riggs has family ties to a few of his favorites as his brother played at Tennessee, his uncle played at Notre Dame, an aunt attended Florida, and his mother attended Florida State. He said he will listen to any and all advice that they have for him during the recruiting process.
As for his upcoming plans, they include more visits. He still plans to hit the road to check out the two favorites he has yet to see.
"I haven't been to Florida State or Tennessee," Riggs said. "That is why they are on the bottom of my list, because I haven't seen them yet. I am going to Florida State for Showtime and Tennessee will be for an official visit."
This college football season, Riggs plans to take an official visit to all five schools and reach a decision following those visits.
"Game day is real important to me," Riggs said. "I definitely have to see what the schools are like on game day."
As a junior, Riggs recorded 25 tackles, 25 pass breakups and eight interceptions last season as a junior.
