'09 COLLEGE FOOTBALL OFF-SEASON THREAD-recruiting/Coaching Changes/Transfers

Nothing happened. It was a stupid rumor that some moron made up on a garbage website. Everyone wants to be an insider. I hate that about our fans. They suck.

First meeting is today.

Moeller - listed in fair condition after a head injury? hmmm... we definantly need him...
Small- I wish this dude would wise up, need his experience at WR and PR/KR, but based off his post on twitter, and his past issues this does not come as asurprise.
Rose- dude never really made a Huge impact as expected.

Yeah I was about to say, those are the LT's.

I remember when Joe and the rest of USC broke out the Vapors

Reporters asked defensive coordinator Mickey Andrews on Sunday about whether this could be his last year. Here was his answer:

"It may very well be. I said one year last year, and this is the one year. I've got some things I've got to get done with my family that I haven't been able to do coaching. When I get out of coaching, it won't be because I can't coach or don't want to coach, but I've got to do things that I owe my wife and our daughter and grandkids. That could very well be what happens after this."

He's probably going to retire and take care of his grand-kids, the children of his son that passed away.

I wanna see what dude does this year in the starting spot. Dude has lost weight.

Damn. I love how Miami West practices are open to the public. Belichic would have a field day if he coached in the Pac10

Should be interesting to see if Pete relies heavily on those backs or if he will throw the QBs right into it.

Marrell Evans may have asked for a transfer. Was competing at the quick position and they wanted him to be the starter there but Brandon Herron passed him up.Marrell started last year and looked like he was wearing cement cleats. Good kid but got passed. Wish he would stay because no spot is guaranteed and I am surehe would have got some burn this year.

wait WHAT?

"The new football locker room, currently under construction for a whopping $17 million, will be VERY competitive nationally. Gabbard said Tech'slocker room will stand up against anyone in the country, "outside of the Texas Taj Mahal." And here's a fun fact: The Hokies' lockers will belarger than any other program's in America. "And that was intentional," Gabbard said. He noted that Beamer asked him what the largest was, thentold him, "OK, make ours two inches bigger." I believe Tech's will now be 42 inches wide."

Curious to see if these will actually be nice or not. I'm not a fan of our new BBall practice facility, at least from the outside. And our athletic centerlooks subpar as well (I actually intern for the firm that designed it

, wouldn't ever say that to their faces)

Also, re: the new bball practice facility: "One of the first things visitors will see when they walk in is a GIANT, two-story photo of DeronWashington's famous facial over Duke's Greg Paulus. Washington's ... um ... "groin area" is resting squarely on Paulus'shoulder."
