Next question.
What kind of fans do you think we are?

I know Chester and I won't defend those pathetic losses in any way. I won't even fight for the two crappy wins we had.
I would say don't disregard the entire season of football that was played, but yes, this is a terrible bowl season for the Pac-10.

Not saying this was you, but I distinctly remember some of the Pac-10 heads spouting off at the mouth about being 5-0 last bowl season and that somehowjustified them as being one of if not the top conference last year and now they sucking it up in this bowl season and those same peeps are nowhere to befound...interesting.
Under Armour: Blur Team Wednesday stars
Jamie Newberg

MORE: Texas making impact at UA Game | -backs make instant impact at UA | All-star coverage

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - Calhoun (Ga.) wide receiver Da'Rick Rogers was almost impossible to stop during the first day of practice for the 2010 Under Armour All-American Game on Wednesday.

Rogers is on top of Rivals.com recruiting analyst Jamie Newberg's list of top performers for the White Team (Blur) from Wednesday's practices.

Under Armour White Team Wednesday Top Performers

1. Da'Rick Rogers

DARICKROGERS3_19100.JPG
WR, 6-3/206, Calhoun (Ga.)
Committed to Georgia

Rogers looks like an NFL-ready receiver right now with his combination of size, speed and sheer athleticism. While he did well in the early drills, he got better as the practice progressed. He was just about impossible to stop in team drills, especially on intermediate and long routes. Rogers excels in the air and made some big time grabs.

2. Lamarcus Joyner

LAMARCUSJOYNER12_2100.JPG
CB, 5-8/166, Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas
Committed to Florida State

Joyner had a very good day for the Blur (White) secondary. He has extraordinary speed and quickness and superior ball skills. He may not be the biggest corner in the world, but he certainly plays with a physical mentality. Joyner can turn and run with anyone and can jump through the gym. One he puts it all together, Joyner will turn himself into an elite cornerback at the next level.

3. Kadron Boone

KADRONBOONE4_24100.JPG
WR, 6-1/190, Ocala (Fla.) Trinity Catholic
Committed to Texas Tech

Boone was one of the big surprises for the Blur. With running back size, he's an extremely physical wide receiver. He is blessed with very good hands and concentration. Boone has deceptive speed and runs quality routes. He more than held his own in one-on-one battles with Josh Shaw, Lamarcus Joyner and the other elite defensive backs on his team.

4. James Hurst

JAMESHURST9_19100.JPG
OT, 6-5/284, Indianapolis (In.) Plainfield
Committed to North Carolina

Hurst looked and played the part as one of the nation's top linemen. He has a super body and frame and possesses very good footwork. Hurst gets off the ball well and plays with good leverage. He struggled on occasion in pass protection, but for the most part had a good day of practice.

5. Joshua Shaw

894029.jpg
CB, 6-1/195, Palmdale (Calif.)
Committed to Florida

Shaw had a very good day. He's a cornerback prospect that has super size. Shaw has the speed and strength to match up with big receivers and the quickness to stay with the smaller ones. He's very physical both at the line of scrimmage and in coverage. In fact, at times he's a little too aggressive - and that can hurt him.

6. William Gholston

894030.jpg
DE, 6-7/237, Detroit (Mich.) Southeastern
Committed to Michigan State

Gholston is as physically impressive as any prospect in this game. He's blessed with super size and a long and lean frame. Gholston showed very good agility in drills for a big man. In one-on-one drills he showed out and was tough to block, using his speed and athleticism off the edge.

7. Alec Ogletree

894031.jpg
S, 6-3/210, Newnan (Ga.)
Committed to Georgia

Ogletree is one of the few "wow" guys on team Blur. He's physically imposing and certainly passes the eyeball test. For a bigger safety he has nice agility and can really get to the ball in a hurry. Ogletree is at his best playing downhill. He struggles in coverage, but that will come with more reps. His best days in front of him are likely at linebacker at the next level, where his potential is sky high.

8. Christian Jones

894032.jpg
LB, 6-4/220, Winter Park (Fla.) Lake Howell
Jones is a great-looking prospect with superior size and athleticism for a 6-4 linebacker. He has a long body and long arms. He looks like he will one day put his hand down and become a defensive end. Jones looked super in the early agility drills, moving effortlessly and showing good speed and great feet.

9. Kenny Shaw

KENNYSHAW5_7100.JPG
WR, 6-0/180, Orlando (Fla.) Dr. Phillips
Shaw had a really good day. He may not be the biggest receiver here, but he finds ways to get open. Shaw is quick off the line of scrimmage and runs very good routes. He catches the ball well and can get separation from a defender. Shaw looked good against some very good prospects in the secondary.

10. Chaz Green

894034.jpg
OT, 6-6/290, Tampa (Fla.) Catholic
Green is your prototype offensive tackle prospect, with excellent size, a great body and a long, lean and muscular frame. He moves very well laterally and is athletic. Green started off a little slow but began to pick things up as the practice progressed.

11. Brandon Coleman

BRANDONCOLEMAN4_27100.JPG
WR, 6-6/200, Forestville (Md.) Bishop McNamara
Coleman was very impressive. First, his superior size shows. He's the biggest receiver in Orlando. While he may not be the fastest or quickest wideout, his combination of size and speed make him hard to defend. Coleman is tough in the air and consistently made catches.

12. Corey Lemonier

894035.jpg
DE, 6-5/223, Hialeah (Fla.)
Lemonier stood out from the moment he stepped on the field when the defensive linemen worked their way through drills. He moves very well and has terrific speed and quickness. Lemonier has a good, lean frame that should be able to carry another 25-30 pounds very easily. He showed out in one on one drills with his quickness and speed off the edge.

13. Louis Nix

894037.jpg
DT, 6-2/320, Jacksonville (Fla.) Raines
Committed to Notre Dame

Nix may not dazzle you in agility drills or with his 40-yard dash time, but he sure is a handful in the middle anchoring a defense. Nix was dominant in one-on-one drills, using his strength to manhandle whoever was in front of him. He's a bull in the middle that gets by on sheer strength.

14. George Uko

894038.jpg
DT, 6-4/300, Chino (Calif.) Don Lugo
Committed to USC

Uko had a solid first day from start to finish. He gets off the ball pretty quickly and moves well for a big man. Uko shows good movement and athleticism. This defensive tackle is raw, but he showed flashes of why he's one of the top defensive tackles in the West.

15. Jesse Scroggins
894039.jpg
QB, 6-3/195, Lakewood (Calif.)
Committed to USC

For the first half of practice Scroggins threw the ball very effectively, showcasing a strong arm. He has good size and threw with accuracy. In short, he showed why he's one of the top QBs in the country. Like at most all-star games, he and the other QBs should show improvement as they grow more comfortable in the offense and with their receivers.
Under Armour: Nitro Team Wednesday stars
Barton Simmons
Rivals.com Football Recruiting

MORE: Texas making impact at UA Game | -backs make instant impact at UA | All-star coverage

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - Staten Island (N.Y.) Curtis defensive end Dominique Easley was almost unblockable during the first day of practice for the 2010 Under Armour All-American Game on Wednesday.

Easley checks in at No. 1 on Rivals.com recruiting analyst Barton Simmons' list of top performers for the Black Team (Nitro) from Wednesday's practices.

Under Armour Black Team Wednesday Top Performers

1. Dominique Easley

893983.jpg
DE, 6-3/258, Staten Island (N.Y.) Curtis
Committed to Penn State

As a whole, the Nitro (Black) offensive line was the stronger group in the trenches. However, Easley was an exception to the rule. Easley was almost unblockable all day. He can play both defensive end and defensive tackle. He was getting free using power at the point of attack, a quick get-off and great reads. There wasn't a period that Easley didn't make an impact - whether it was in one-on-one pass rush drills, 9-on-7 interior run drills or 11-on-11 team drills.

2. Luke Joeckel

893984.jpg
OT, 6-6/280, Arlington (Texas)
Committed to Texas A&M

On an offensive line that looked very impressive, Joeckel was the top overall prospect. Joeckel has good size and body structure and performed the way you want offensive linemen to perform. He had very good versatility in that he could protect the edge very effectively, but also has the ability and mindset to pave ground in the run game. One of the most impressive aspects of Joeckel's game is his ability to play with leverage and a good pad-level in the run game despite his size. As a pass protector he has good balance and feet. He will likely be the starting left tackle on Saturday.

3. Mike Davis

893985.jpg
WR, 6-1/185, Dallas (Texas) Skyline
Committed to Texas

Mike Davis is not the biggest wide receiver on his team, nor is he the fastest - or strongest. However, he just may be the best wide receiver on the team. It is hard to quantify Davis' skill set with testing numbers or measurables. He has a great knack for getting open and a natural ability to catch the ball once it gets there. Davis had the ability to get off of the line of scrimmage against press coverage, had success moving defensive backs to create space and also caught the ball well in traffic. Overall, Davis just had the look of a playmaker.

4. A.J. Cann

893986.jpg
OL, 6-3/260, Bamberg (S.C.) Bamberg-Erhardt
Committed to South Carolina

From a physique standpoint, Cann is the most limited offensive lineman on the Nitro squad. He probably has to be an offensive center or defensive tackle on the next level, with a chance he could play guard. When at guard, Cann was consistently driving defensive tackles deep into the second level of the defense in the run game. As a pass protector, he more than made up for his limited height. Cann definitely has some athleticism, but by using his leverage and strength he answered all questions about his ability to be a physical presence.

5. Justin Hunter

893987.jpg
WR, 6-4/172, Virginia Beach (Va.) Ocean Lakes
Committed to LSU

Hunter is long, lanky wide receiver who has good speed and the ability to stretch the field vertically against any defense. His long arms and legs make him a difficult matchup and a quarterback-friendly target. Though Hunter's strength is probably extending the field vertically, he actually separated himself in the short passing game. He was able to consistently make himself available on curl routes and find soft spots inside zones. He made himself a big target for the quarterback and used his long arms to snatch everything thrown in his general direction.

6. John Fulton

893988.jpg
b>CB, 6-1/180, Manning (S.C.)
As far as cornerbacks go, Fulton is about as natural as they come. Fulton is fluid in and out of his backpedal, and he showed good hips in individual work. He is comfortable on an island and has fantastic cover skills. During one-on-ones, Fulton made a number of plays just by reading the receivers' routes, staying in their hip pocket and beating them out of the break. Though he may not quite be as tall as his 6-foot-1 listing, he still has good size at defensive back and looks to have the potential to be a shutdown type player.

7. Demar Dorsey

893989.jpg
S, 6-1/175, Lauderdale Lakes (Fla.) Boyd Anderson
Committed to Florida

It's no secret that Dorsey has special speed and athleticism, but his skills translated very effectively to football ability. Though he wants to be a cornerback, safety is really the spot for him on defense. He has great range and has better than average mobility and fluidity. As a downhill player, he demonstrated some real physicality, providing probably the hit of the day from the safety position. Dorsey also lined up some on offense and he is extremely dangerous on that side of the ball as well. As a vertical threat he is a terrifying matchup. He looks to have too much athleticism not to be successful somewhere on the field.

8. Jake Holland

893990.jpg
LB, 6-1/228, Pelham (Ala.)
Committed to Auburn

An all-star setting can be a tough place for a linebacker to showcase his skill set, but Holland did a good job of finding ways to make plays. The only true mike linebacker on the Nitro (Black) Team, Holland got a number of reps and made the most of them. He is a very instinctive linebacker, and one of his real strengths is finding his drops in the pass game and sniffing out second-level passes. He had a couple of nice breakups and one interception on the day. He was consistently around the football. Though he is a stocky linebacker with a thick lower body, he is relatively loose and fluid and shows good athleticism.

9. Phillip Sims

893991.jpg
QB, 6-2/209, Chesapeake (Va.) Oscar Smith
Committed to Alabama

All three of the Nitro quarterbacks had their moments, but Sims had the most steady and consistent day of the three. Sims doesn't have great height, but he is not limited enough to where it is a concern. He has a strong arm, but made his mark with good decision-making, quick and effective reads and some nice touch passes. While each of the other two quarterbacks for the Black Team had several negative plays in which they made either poor choices or poor throws, Sims protected the ball. He was a steadying force to the offense with the ball in his hands.

Easley should make an impact from the 1st day he steps on campus

Uh-ohhhhh.....

Might've just landed Elam.......

-edit-

let me clarify. The talk was that as soon as Urban left UF, Either he placed a call to Jimbo or Jimbo called him THAT NIGHT and Committed to FSU. I think now,it is going to be official. We'll see.
Yes he will. even he knows it
idk bro, if we go w/ this hybrid/multiple front D he'll still be playing LB w/ some DE mixed in.

True dat. But at the end of this season a lot of them were saying that the Pac-10 was the best conference this year cause they were "beating up on eachother". I'm just trying to figure out if they had so many good teams why are they performing so badly. I do still hope Oregon slaughters Ohio Stthough.

And dre where you hearing this about Elam
smh.gif

IMO Elam had been looking for any reason Not to be a Gator.
when Joyner and Luc mobbed up to FSU, It was only a matter of time for Elam. it started with flirting w/ Tennessee. and then Urban did his quit/LOA deal...

Losing him would be a big blow, but it isn't like we are short of good DBs, especially @ safety. I'm starting to think Urban'schange of heart was soley done to try and curtail some of these decommits.

ESPNU is reporting Elam to FSU ....

1 down.

Now to lock up Jones, and land T-Rex and Lemonier

And as another added benefit, since he's an EE he can count towards last years #'s, which will allow us to sign one more kid this year (should thecoaches decide to do so)

"I was strong on Florida, that's where I wanted to be and then when this happened I was like dang. I was supposed to be enrolling there in about 10 days but I had a bad feeling about things when he said he was coming back, I didn't feel comfortable with that. I didn't want to get in and get stuck, that was really scaring me," Elam said.

Elam is no fool.
FSU getting all them recruits and still going to be hot trash with bum %!% jimbo

We'll see Mikey.

I knew he could run, but son is getting rave reviews on his throwing ability saying he can already make NFL throws down the seem.

thats a nice land for fsu. i think christian green might end up there too.
if unc can land sharrif floyd, latwan anderson, christian bryant. i'll be happy with this class

since he's an EE he can count towards last years #'s, which will allow us to sign one more kid this year (should the coaches decide to do so)
No way.
EE count toward your 10 class. U cant back track those guys. our 11 EE count toward this 2010 class
If you can back track, U gotta show me the rule, cus Ive never heard of that before

You can back track. Because you can only sign 25 in one class now. So if you don't sign the full 25 you can use EE's too count towards the 25 youdidn't sign the previous year.

That's only way teams can sign 30 kids now. If you only signed 20 the previous class, you can have 5 EE's and then 25 summer/fall signees. Which givesyou 30 in one offseason but technically its 30 split into two separate recruiting classes.
