I guess they kept it quiet since he's committed.

The visit was a surprise and apparently had a good time but guess it doesn't really mean anything. Never really heard anything about his interest in UF.

Kid is a beast though.

Boston College LB Luke Kuechly made 16 tackles and a tackle for loss in the Emerald Bowl loss to USC.

This kid is gonna be a problem (true frosh outta Cincy St. X).

After the announcement, he said he would stick with SC, but now it sounds like he's planning to take visits elsewhere.

Urban Meyer really wants Bax and has been talking to him since Army AA.

Steve Specht tried to get Charlie Weis to recruit him and he told him that he was there for Matt James and wasn't interested in him.

I pray Urban can pull of this miracle and hopefully Powell can get in his ear too. I figure we're running third behind Michigan and USC (depending on whothey hire)

This would be huge just because Urban has never had a guy that could be an every down back the way Baxter can be.

Please let this happen, if so we'll be untouchable from 2011-2013

(especially ifyou gotta play in the SEC).

I will seriously build a little hatred for UF (have been indifferent my whole life) if Urban somehow gets this kid.

I think this kid has the potential to literally save Rich Rod's job and have Michigan back on their feet and running. He is that good and THAT PERFECT forour system.

Devin Gardner/Dillon Baxter could potentially be Pat White/Steve Slaton Pt. 2., but better.

Bax is pissed right now.

I hope we get a serious coach candidate by the end of the week.

Most of these guys still want to be Trojans, just want to know who will be leading them.

@ missing out on Powell, Lache, etc.

Is that a good thing?
IMO, yes. But a lot of Michigan boosters are trying to push him out and never wanted him in the first place. Plus we are getting a new AD. Ifhe doesn't win this year, he will get #+!! canned.

I don't think a lot of people realize how hard it is to come into a program like Michigan that was straight pro style everything (Lloyd's recruits) andswitch it into a spread read option team overnight.

We didn't have ANY of the right personnel the first year. Freakin' walk on QB as the starter (because Ryan Mallett transfered). Giant %%% 300+pounders on the OL who couldn't block/move like they needed to. Wide receivers who were tall and slow (relatively speaking for the offense). #+!! wasbound to completely fail.

2nd year, improvement, but we still aren't close to the right personnel to get this offense clicking like it can when you have the right types of players. Plus we started 2 true freshman at QB the whole year. Not to mention, the D absolutely sucked.

Once Rich Rod starts winning, kids will lineup to come to Michigan again...that is, if he gets the chance/enough time.

Please enlighten me as what big time every down backs has he had?

Moody don't count.

^ KJ23, I wouldn't take that clown serious straight off of his SN.

And Moody is straight booty.

He's definitely perfect for your system. His arm isn't bad either.

demps, moody and the other kid would do just fine as number 1 RB but with Tebow there meyers was just fine using him to run the ball

I've never been a fan of Rich Rod, I don't think he can handle everything that goes with being at a big time program.

He does deserve some time to get his own guys in there but you've got to show them something worthy of getting that extra time. Needs to start with that D,that was painful to watch (but stay away from Heater). I figure he's got to get to a bowl game at the least next year if he still wants to be around.

Demps & the other kid, Chris Rainey, are not every-down #1 backs. Moody has found it too difficult to learn the system. There is no"s" at the end of Meyer. Stop Posting.

Coaches (what's left of them) finally called Prater and talked to him while he was back home. Rumor is he's leaning back on EEing to SC.

If this ends up being true, it would be HUGE for SC in keeping Baxter. Woods, Prater, and Bax are really close.

Riley just signed a 3-year contract extension. He's staying with the Beavers.

Key word: POTENTIALLY and yes, it's def. a bit of a hyperbole at the moment.
He's definitely perfect for your system. His arm isn't bad either.
That's why I want him so bad. We could line him up in the Wildcat at times with Denard Robinson running motion out of the slot.
