Calvin didn't catch that ball against the Bears week 1......should've been a loss but hey, fact is it was a no catch. Get over it Detroit. cant wait until Peppers eliminates Stafford again........

and i like Stafford.

You talk about one pass rusher, yet the Lions have Suh, Avril, Fairley, and Vanden Bosch, our line is stacked with Corey Williams available if Fairley isn't ready. Jay Cutler is the one who needs to watch out, dude is going to be shook back there in the pocket going up against the Lions this year. I think Stafford will be alright, he put on some weight and isn't as frail, if he stays healthy Detroit will be in the playoff hunt at 9 or 10 wins.

*I'm sorry, but if you're Ray Edwards, and you're not posting 10 sack seasons over and over and over, you're doing SOMETHING wrong. You play on a defensive line with Kevin Williams, Jared Allen and Pat Williams... alllll who are getting double teamed on every play. You have single coverage every, single, freaking, play, Ray. This 8 sack BS two years running aint cuttin it.

Brian Robison = better DE than Ray Edwards. You all shall see.

Robison I always thought was undoubtedly underrated. He may not be as physically gifted or talented as ray, but he's a football player. Ray Edwards doesn't deserve that label.

I'd be more worried about your O-Line (especially LT) and your mentally and physically soft QB.

Do Bears fans really think they have a chance? They have a bleak future ahead of them. The fans continue to spew stupidity all around.

You really want to talk about a soft QB with a QB like yours .......give me a Qb that can take a beating over one that can't stay on the field any day of the week twice On Sunday. 2 years and he hasn't even played in a full year worth of games now that's soft

There is a huge difference between being injury prone and soft. Call Stafford injury prone and made of glass but if he's not out on the field, it's because he isn't able to play, can't say the same for Cutler.

You can be damn sure Cutler's every move will be under the microscope this season and there's no way I can see that ending well.  I expect him to blow up at some point during the season.  He won't be able to handle the media pressure and the constant questioning.

no there isn't a huge difference in being injury prone and soft, you just want it to be. Son can't take a hit, got sacked 4 times didnt miss a game or 2 no his season was over. cutler got sacked 52 times(and 33 of those was inside 3secs)missed 2 halfs and a full game while leading his team to the NFC champ game. While all you lions fans can do is post a clip of him coming back to throw another pass before taking the season off. And show me a game last year where he could come back in and didn't........don't worry I'll wait

Examples of Cutler being physically soft other than the NFC Championship game, which really doesn't count because he wasn't cleared to play by the medical staff.
You keep thinking Jay is soft, fact of the matter is you just hate him like the media does. I have no problem with that, but don't let your opinion be skewed by the media's nonsense. He's a prick yes, but soft? $!@+%$$@. You Detroit fans are funny. Injury prone isn't the same as being soft? What a gem. 87 sacks the past two seasons and he's missed one game by concussion. On the contary, Stafford has played 13 games in two seasons with a total of 28 sacks. Detroit isn't changing anytime soon, all this promise in August will be fraudulent come November.

And yes we have an aging defense, it's still one of the best in the league. None of our players in major decline so bring up that excuse as much as you want.

Brian Urlacher isn't in major decline?  C'mon son.

all of this.

and what is with Lions fans talking all kinds of +$#* all of a sudden? Your team is *$*%%@% garbage and hasnt been +$#* in i cant even remember how long. All this hype will die down once the season starts... as it always does, and the Bears will be just fine at the end of the day like we have beem.

Injury prone isnt the same as soft
roll.gif
son that is the weakest *$*%%@% argument i have ever heard. No qb has taken beatings the past 2 years like Cutler has and he continues to play through it get off his ****

And who the %%%+ cares about that opener anyway last year anyway? We still won the division and made it to the NFC championship and perhaps could have even won with a healthy Cutler... and yall still sucked for the rest of the year. Acting like that 1 game really changed +$#*

Dude was arguably our best player on D last year. He is more injury prone but he's still good. If anything Tillman is the one on the decline.

Funny, I told everyrone the same thing about Brett Favre. Only difference was that the media loved Favre.

It's really hard to project the Bears this season. I wouldn't be surprised if we go 5-11 or if we go 11-5 really.
Low-key admitting that last season was a fluke

Not saying we would have made the playoffs, but to start the season off with a comeback win and last second touchdown against a division rival has completely different implications going forward than losing that game on a total #*+$*#+! call.  That's one more win for us, one less for you, and we feel great going into the next weeks as opposed to down, defeated, and robbed.   But hey, that's last season and I've come to terms with it.  Time to deal with this season, in which the Lions will sweep the Bears.  See ya on 10/10
