I'm already getting used to the fact it's all tape-delayed. I think this will change next time around- with social media providing up-to-the-minute updates on everything now, there's really no way to keep the results a secret, unless you live under a rock and don't look at anything. I've been waiting all day for them to put up the replay of the team gymnastics.... still waiting. I was trying to watch swimming on there earlier and it was so laggy; found a Japanese stream that was better. Where's my money going?

It's not greed, it's incompetence. NBC lost the NBA, so they got thirsty, bid against themselves for the Olympics and waaaaaaaay overpaid.
Now they have to get stingy to get those primetime ratings, just to break even.

I saw ol' lady's jaw on the floor when they showed it on TV... Cant say I've seen a judge aside from NBA Dunk Contests so stunned by an attempt like that.

That's good they did that....I wonder if the Japanese women's team will get any heat since their coach admittedly told them not to score a goal so they could finish 2nd in the group....I guess its easier to fake it in soccer


It's also a shame that Adrian Hooper, the Aussie boxer, got reprimanded for wearing the aboriginal flag on his shirt to enter the ring...like c'mon now Australia recognizes it as an official flag....the IOC is too much sometimes, let him represent his ancestry and his country smh

I really try with soccer, and I do watch more than most Americans, but these pansy's make it hard to enjoy. Dude's on Brazil straight acting feminine every time they get touched. Don't be upset when you get kicked in the shin guard when they object of the game is to kick. Real mans football >
