2013 College Football Thread (Realer than Real Deal Holyfield -->S/O Craftsy)

Honestly, covering the spread vs Bama should be a great barometer for your season if its an OOC game

Yea thats probably true. I am hoping for 8 wins this year but we'll see.

As far as Logan goes I think he's always been pretty humble and worked hard, but just isn't a natural at the position. He was fundamentally sloppy in a lot of areas and our QB coach was terrible and didn't address it. New QB coach at least recognized all the things he's doing wrong on tape, getting him to fix it will be another matter. Both he and Tyrod looked more fluid/natural and were more accurate as passers when they first got here and then either fell into bad habits or were poorly coached by O'Cain and sharply regressed their 2nd years.

And as I said last year, there was no talent on that team. The QB was the leading rusher, the line couldn't protect and there weren't any receiving threats to speak of. 2 of our senior WR's were still running the wrong routes sometimes. Yea, if he was a Heisman caliber player he would have elevated the team and made us more competitive, but he wasn't. I don't think he's AS bad as he looked last year though.

Delvon Simmons to transfer from Texas Tech

In 2011 Delvon Simmons was one of the biggest prizes of Texas Tech's recruiting class. The four-star defensive tackle out of Pennsylvania chose the Red Raiders over schools like Florida, Michigan, Penn State, Oregon and USC just to name a few.

Now Simmons has decided to move on.

Simmons will transfer from Texas Tech, and while there is no reported destination for him, CBSSports.com's Bruce Feldman reports that he will visit USC on Sunday night. It's also reported that Penn State, Pitt and Miami are also in the running to land Simmons.

In his two seasons with Texas Tech the 6-foot-5, 265-pound tackle appeared in 23 games, making 40 tackles with 7.5 tackles for loss and three sacks.

Wherever Simmons transfers to, he'll have to sit out the 2013 season per NCAA rules and have two years of eligibility remaining come the 2014 season.

Nah that **** dope....USC helmets is boring

I've come to accept that a white lid or a matte finish lid automatically is :hat to the demographic in this thread. :lol

It's boring because their is nothing new/exciting about it. It's a school no one cares about football wise and its been done a million times. It's getting old.

I'll take classic and boring over rehashed and played out.

Demographic? Explain what demographic you're talking about please

And who cares if the school is big or small....but I like the overall landscape of college football...I'm not sucking off major programs...I watch it all
