Not to mention younger and more talented...

Part of the problem is he is a victim of his own success. Those first few weeks of the season were better than anything Weeden ever put on tape but then he had that epic collapse. Unfair? Sure. Same thing happened to Luck on a much smaller scale. Difference is Geno is still a flawed prospect.

But yet EJ Manuel goes first...*head scratch*

Exactly. Plus they have to PAY Three 1st rounders under rookie pool which is the total amount you can pay all your draft picks . There is no need for those extra picks especially from a dollar standpoint .


:lol: ppl still thinking the Pats fleeced the Vikings. the Vikings DID WORK. moved up to get guys they think can impact their team in a STRONG division . You gotta get impact players when you're division has 2 other teams capable of double digit wins in a season.
they cant keep trading back and getting special teamers in the 3rd and 4th rounds like teams who face the Bills , Jets and Dolphins twice a year.

Might as well throw Geno out there, Sanchez gets you nowhere.....still no play makers on the Jets regardless tho
 
dee milliner , sheldon richardson and geno smith in a draft for the jets

is pretty good, arguably the number 1 player in 3 positions
 
Don't eem' matter when Santonio Holmes is your #1, Bilal Powell is the lead back, and you don't have a TE...
