I usually never agree with the old man, but I agree with CP on that one.

If i'm building a team right now for the future i'm picking AD over all of those guys.

Thing is you guys are saying different things, building a team for the future and saying AD is the third best player today are way different

I agree with you but not CP, when building teams for the future AD is one of the top picks in the game

So now I'm a hipster who repeats what ESPN says? :lol :lol :lol

I really, truly, honestly, without a doubt, don't give a flying **** what any of you think.

Anthony Davis is the 3rd best player in the league, today. The only two guys I would even consider moving him for are Durant, and LeBron. No one else.

I would trade Russ for AD
I would trade Blake for AD
I would trade CP3 for AD
I would trade Melo for AD
I would trade Dwight for AD
I would trade Harden for AD
I would trade Steph for AD

I don't give a **** about ESPN, or even know what a hipster is, so label me as you please. Anthony Davis's game speaks for itself, and will continue to do so. I just pray he doesn't get hurt like Rose did after his MVP season. :x

Agreed. Dude just lands so awkwardly sometimes. He's just the best most awkward player I've ever seen, if that makes any sense :lol

Dude moves like someone who just been through a growth spurt

Because of this I cringe whenever AD lands

Yeah but if you're a building a team to win a championship right now who are you building it around? 8o Keeping in mind that player is suppose to be your 1st option and team leader.

If Bron/Durant off the board, I'll take the kid that gives me 21-10 in just 35 minutes a night, leads the league in blocks, adds a steal a night, high percentage, defends the rim, can hit free throws, adding range, rotate and disrupt while being the focal point on O and D with a PER over 26.

Give him 3 extra minutes a night and let his numbers soar.

At this point CP you sounding like you need to back away from AD's package with how hard you're going. How many times can you say the same thing?

It's like yall want an argument for someone to say no.

I mean you just said he's already the 3rd best player in the game NOW :lol You're posts are all based on his potential. You're not taking in to consideration what that statement actually entails. If he's 3rd best right now, I expect MVP contention #s this season at the very least.
thought he was all about winning doe? 8o 8o
You can win and make A LOT of money though.

not with the Knicks team tho, which is why im calling him an idiot.

Knicks arent contending for the life of that contract he signed. and yes i will put money on that. SRS

So if the Pelicans offered him to the Cavs they should give up Bron? 8o :lol

Lebron and Cleavland is a special situation, given that we all assume he's not leaving Cleavland.

But if you look at it in a vacuum, 1 year and an option of Lebron is not worth, the next 5 years of AD.

if you make a list of most valuable assets AD comes out 1.

Nah I disagree here and Bron and Durant aint off the board but there's still other choices if I'm looking for that player to build a championship team around right now.

Dude is a 2nd year player and you're saying besides Bron and Durant he's the guy that's your 1st option and team leader you got confidence in to win you a championship.

You right though, this don't got anything with you watching ESPN cuz if the media was putting that type of pressure an expectations on AD right now I'm not sure he'd survive it.

Quake for sure
:lol

I just don't see it with him and I'm not the type that says is all he does is dunk. Blake has impressed but he's not the 1st option or the leader he needs to be for me to say that's the guy I want leading my team in to the finals.

Atlantic division sucks.

Agree to disagree. Melo already won, prevented himself from being an idiot by passing up that money, and you can not tell the future so it's not like I can take you any seriously than that.

BTW, I'm also kinda assuming among these players you have to choose from they're in their time, mostly active players now. AD has the greatest potential and that contract right now should be kept in mind but I'm not sure it'd be the smartest thing for OKC to give up KD or Russ right now for AD even if KD dips in 2016 and if Russ leaves whenever he has the chance to.

I kinda don't see the Spurs doing it either for any of their core 3.

Also does much change if the Rockets give up Dwight for AD?

Chicago was not winning with melo. He would be foolish to lose that much money. If it was a difference of 10 fine take the risk. But 50? That's ******* ridiculous.

Bigs win game just on defensive impact, but the NBA is a guard's game now and they impact the game so much

With that said AD is a top 10 player, but there is no way I'm going out on a limb like CP and OKB and declaring him the best player today, right now James Harden will win you more games

There is nobody in the history of the NBA that I trade AD for.
:rollin

This that sarcasm if taken seriously would have you thinking AD is the next Shaq and Hakeem combined.

Right now to win a chip I'm taking CP3 over AD without a 2nd thought.

I thought this was well established but maybe I haven't repeated this enough times as everybody else repeats their opinions.

Regardless though it aint like I needed to name somebody else to simply state I don't have the confidence in AD right now that CP does.

Harden huh? :lol

The extra 3-4 points Harden scores a game is negated by the 80 a game he gives up?
