With that said AD is a top 10 player, but there is no way I'm going out on a limb like CP and OKB and declaring him the best player today, right now James Harden will win you more games

I hear you, difference between this and Drummond is considerable though. Let's be real. Like lawdog mentioned, Davis was a #1 overall pick with high expectations to begin with. I don't necessarily agree it's getting "hispter" with Davis, he's just finally starting to look the part. I think a lot of us saw the pro potential since high school...

I hear you about Drummond. That **** is definitely true. Davis though, this just aint the same thing

Also like I told lawdog, I understand if people are uneasy about other folks proclaiming things like top 3 player and what not. That's not what I'm getting at though..

Again...it's not really about the players. Drummond is an animal who could blossom into something special. AD is already looking like a generational type talent. I think most of the sane regulars recognize that by now.

But the daily talk would make you think it was breaking news or some ****.

FTR...I'm on record here saying I got AD as the top guy in the entire league within the next five seasons. I just haven't beat ****** over the head about it.

Is Brian Roberts still with NO? He gave them solid minutes and he would be much better if he could play behind Jrue Holiday and be an actual backup. Also, hopefully Ryan Anderson is fully healthy and ready to go. Few players i'm rooting for coming into this year more than him. It's a shame that at some moment this year, The Pelicans will catch the injury bug and kill their playoff chances. If healthy, I could see them fighting for that 7th or 8th seed. Seeing AD in the playoffs would be awesome.

But Why is AD better than K Love or blake right now? Someone sell me right now. And I'm not asking in a facetious manner, I legit would like to hear why.

In that defensive juggernaut video you can tell he's putting no effort whatsoever, and its cause just like kyrie, if they didnt save that energy for O they're teams are done for

Its somewhat easy to see, cause they're teammates rarely criticize them about it, or even yell at them on the court

Like, "Harden actually is capable of some decent [hell, even solid] defense, like he's showing [allegedly] in the FIBA tourney".. but you had to take it all the way to the top. Straight to elite status because of one or two exhibition games.
