Dont know where Buddy hield will land, but i think he is gonna be a solid pro.
Could be a starwith the sixers and dantoni system

The fact that Kidd benched MCW for OJ and kinda gave Giannis the point, then benched Monroe to open things up and get Giannis even more shots, then benched whoever else needed to be benched to allow Giannis to get his 40mpg, really gave him some Extra Confidence.

Kidd might be a Genius.
he just might be a genius !

I have not watched a single second of college basketball this year but doesnt ben simmons play the same position as randle?

Man I still don't get how Marcelo Huertas is playing in clutch time....like really bro....Lakers suck

giving our young players late game experience is important

he's going to be our backup point guard for the next 10+ years
I know you trolling/joking, but Byron Scott needs to get his butt whooped, even though he's #teamtank

For some reason I got a feeling Okafor gonna blow up to Sullinger size

Gonna be hard keeping his weight down with that knee injury

Melo gets grazy gravy right now

Fixed

i didnt notice i was behind in the game by a little bit, i was like how the f  does everyone else know whats going on before me.

I stay behind :lol. Always rewinding plays over and over

It's OK, Laker fans "don't want him anyway".

Did I do that right?

Am I the only weary of a kid that couldn't carry his team to a 68 man field?

That environment didnt help though. Had the worst coach in college basketball this season.

Whats more worrisome to me than him not making the tourney is the apathy that he plays with and the fact that he cant and wont shoot past 6 feet
I feel like we can't blame him for being apathetic all that much. He went to a school he didn't even care about and isn't American so he doesn't really care about college basketball as an institution as much as one would expect. Especially and an auto league bound kid can you really blame him for not caring about this one year sideshow?

Cleveland had the Lakers on Thursday and then 2 full days off in LA before the Clippers game... And still came out & destroyed a Clippers team that had been playing good ball.

Very impressive. Thought they would've been partying with Friday & Saturday night off in LA. I did not expect them to be ready for this game.

Maybe that atrocious home loss to the depleted Grizzlies woke them up.

Agree. If they can play like they did yesterday consistently, they might be able to compete with the Warriors. That said, I think how well they shot from 3 yesterday against the Clippers was probably an anomaly. Clippers were threatening to cut it to single digits early in the 3rd, then JR hit like 3 straight highly contested step back 3s. And from there it just snowballed and everyone on the Cavs started hitting everything they threw up, including Lebby who is only averaging one 3 make a game.

Doubt they can repeat that kind of performance often, but we'll see. They definitely took care of business yesterday.

Yup. I can't see that being a huge detriment to his draft stock. It's just gonna be something to harp on for the casual observer.

Exactly. But there is going to be a narrative that will build in the coming weeks/months about why Brandon Ingram should go number 1.....when Ben is clearly the best prospect. Scouting fatigue. Need for new discussions. It's close though. Ingram is a very good prospect. But Ben has higher upside and likely will be the #1 pick.

True evaluators of talent know that Ben's Size/Skill/Athleticsim/IQ package are borderline generational. They'll hedge their bets that in time...he can become a consistent enough shooter to keep defenders honest...and a versatile defender.

And in this "positionless basketball" age....Ben fits in.

Ingram is going to pass Simmons like Towns passed Okafor last year.

Okay, I'm not serious. But it's worth considering.

His shooting is the one hang up for me, not only because he can't, but his aversion to even shoot it is a problem. But him not caring about college basketball when he went to an inferior program as a favour? Yeah that's not gonna kill his stock for me.
