Not dissing his skills but it rubs me the wrong way that he couldn't lead his team with two other NBA prospects (not saying they are NBA players) in a power 5 conference to the tournament.

I don't care what you do with the ball if you aren't competitive. Again, not saying he isn't the top pick in the draft but dude is throwing his red flags on the field

I like Gary Payton Jr. Not at number 1 but as a effective NBA player. Just won his 2nd defensive player of the year award for his conference. Like father like son. Glove 2.

Like 2-3 years ago I remember seeing Cousins working on all these hoopsmixtape type face up moves from the high post during shoot around and I always was like [emoji]128580[/emoji][emoji]128580[/emoji][emoji]128580[/emoji][emoji]128580[/emoji] get your big body down low dummy [emoji]128580[/emoji][emoji]128580[/emoji][emoji]128580[/emoji][emoji]128580[/emoji]

But it's cool to see all that work kinda show in is his game years later

Gilbert did it better

giving our young players late game experience is important

he's going to be our backup point guard for the next 10+ years
Byron either stupid or really committed to that tank. He plays the role very well cuz I can't tell which one is the truth.

1. He shoulda put in a defensive lineup after that NY timeout before the Calderon 3. No reason for Huertas to be on the floor in that situation.

2. Why draw up a play for a corner 3 with .2 left on the clock when the rules state you can only have an alley oop tip with that much time left?

The Lakers will fire or re-assign Byron, and present free agents with the idea of who do they want to play for.

Allowing primma donnas and unproven rookies have never turned out well. A coach should always command the respect of the players. Its the player that has to go, not the coach.

Unfortunately, it doesnt turn out that way in pro sports.

Peep LBJ and Cousins.

lakers should go after derek fisher, brian shaw, or even luke walton

Byron is a coach that doesn‘t suit well for the new generation of players. He is a bit harsh at times, but he is really really old school. Obviously, these new guys dunno what old school means. I think it‘ll actually help the rookies long term if they are willing to put their walls and prejudice down.

Byron hasn't worked well with in young guards. Kyrie and CP3 comes to mind.
