Malzahn: 'Working Through Eligibility Issues' With Therezie
13 hours ago

The status of senior Robenson Therezie,  who started every game at Auburn's star position last season, is uncertain, Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn  said after Saturday's practice.

"We are working through some eligibility issues right now with him," Malzahn said. "We should know more in the near future. That’s all I’m going to say about that."

Malzahn said Therezie would be missed if he doesn't play in the season-opener against Arkansas, but he said coaches have ample confidence in senior Justin Garrett.

"Obviously, he’s a returning starter," Malzahn said, "but the good thing is Justin Garrett was the starter before he got hurt and he was the MVP of our spring before."

Malzahn said sophomore cornerback T.J. Davis  is working at star, along with sophomoreMackenro Alexander  and freshman Nick Ruffin.

"We are using some traditional linebackers," Malzahn said. "We have numerous guys that are in the mix in different packages."

Therezie, a second-team preseason All-SEC selection, led the Tigers with four interceptions last season. He was in on 56 tackles. He moved into the lineup when Garrett suffered a foot injury in preseason camp and eventually took a redshirt season.

My fellow canes fans who would you rather golden start? Brad or Jake?
HBK, but sounds like Ryan Williams has a chance to be back early on. If that's the case, then Heaps is fine and throw the RS on Kaaya.

UNC supposed to be good this year?

Plus what's stopping Duke from winning the Coastal again this year?

Duke//UNC to decide who gets curb stomped by FSU in the ACCCG? :nerd:

USC's "suites" for boosters. I realize that suites are largely for socializing between the big money alums and donors and football comes second, but that is a terrible spot for watching a game.

looks like they pushed the bleachers back and spaced em out to make room. was for the band/extra seats for students.

that's where you had to sit if you got to the game late for student section, bc the actual seating would all fill up. Had to watch the triple OT stanford game from there :x

1.
With all of Butch's DEfensive recruits gone? NOPE.

2. Nothing, Duke got that again. coach Cut X&O's are impeccable

3. I can't put UNC up there

So Duke/Va Tech for the right to get curb stomped by FSU? Seems reasonable.

I just really like Duke again this year. :pimp:

Does Cut take a bigger job if the opportunity comes? I know you're pretty well versed with him from the Tennessee tree.

Yea sorry to burst your bubble but we're not losing to duke again. We'll outscore them if we're healthy and have all our weapons unlike last year.

Dline should be better then last year everything should taken a step forward expect maybe line backer but even that might be better. Our dline is gonna be younger but more talented.

Cut isn't leaving for a higher pressure gig. He still has the heart issue. He turned down Vols once and told them don't even interview him a 2nd time.
I think Ole Miss soured him on win or bust programs.

UNC is getting a lot of hype but their defense is uber trash, they can't stop anyone

Miami needs an overall talent upgrade on that DL, hopefully those Juco dudes pan
