What did I say about Manny in comparison to Trout? I've always felt that Trout is one of the 2 best players in the league. I've NEVER said that about Manny. One of the best fielding third basemen, sure...but he's got a ways to go in his development. Especially w/ his power.

Yep. I don't know if I like Matt Williams or not. He makes some of the same head scratching moves that Davey made last year regarding bullpen usage, lineups, etc.

Redmond seems to manage the bullpen well, I've seen him mix up the order when going head-to-head against the Nats, and he doesn't make terrible pinch hitting decisions either. I swear if Matt Williams uses Scott Hairston to pinch hit against a RHP again I might lose it.

Terry knows he's a gatekeeper and with how stupid they are, watch him **** up another arm this season. I never saw the point in keeping a lame duck manager when the dude and the franchise knows he's not the guy going forward. You don't risk your team or your players, especially with a drunk like cocktail Collins. The new regime should already be built/in progress.

This always will be a good comparison for the Mets until there is new ownership and management unfortunately:

Sandy constantly preaches patience and doing things the "right way." Mets fans I talk to are buying it, hence the apparent lack of desperation or urgency.
