Bonds hit Randy Johnson for a 1.003 OPS in 62 plate appearances; no other left-handed hitter with 50 PAs did better than .888, and left-handers overall hit .199/.278/.294.
I was at Yankee Stadium the night of Joba's first career start. I got into a HEATED debate with this dip**** Yankee fan sitting in front of me who was trying to say that Joba was "the best young pitcher in the Major Leagues." That comment was extremely laughable then, considering that in 2008, the "young" pitchers in baseball consisted of Tim Lincecum, Felix Hernandez, Cole Hamels, Jon Lester, Jared Weaver and Justin Verlander....and is even more laughable now after knowing what all have accomplished.at the Yankee tweet.
Oh Joba, what could have been...
I don't believe that story.
You can choose to believe it or not, but it is the God's honest truth. The conversation lasted a few minutes too. It finally ended when the guy said "well Joba hasn't even started a game yet, so there is no way you can tell me I am wrong."i believe it 100%I don't believe that story.

The next MannyNothing better than hyped New York prospects.
Fernando Martinez was my favorite.
Yankees fans thought he was the next Clemens
The next Jesus MonteroThat's like Gary Sanchez and how he's been the next best thing for 7 years now.
