As much as I want 16-0 and a sweep...it would be cool to see them win it on their home floor in Game 5.

but to the original point, dudes really blaming the warriors for the rest of the league being trash and decreasing viewership? **** is comedy to me. the warriors signing KD meant that the league went from a 4 league team (GSW, OKC, SAS, CLE) to a 3 league team (sorry OKC). and considering this warriors team won 73 games last season, the landscape of NBA barely shifted; just made it more certain that cream would rise to the top.
and if folk want to blame the warriors for ratings dipping 15% this season then you also have to thank this very same team for increasing viewership last season. how many "casual" fans tuned in last year to watch this team ascend to 73 wins just so they could say they witnessed history? **** if i could convince my gf and her unathletic *** crochet and knitting friends jump on the warriors bandwagon, then i'm confident as hell there were millions of other new viewers. i'm assuming a large part of that 15% decrease are those casual viewers just not caring this season and tuning off. it's zero sum game
Klay gotta go. He's destined to be Pippen's Pippen next to Steph and KD. 2 rings already, go be your own brand and try and get a ring as a #1.
man i absolutely love Klaydagawd but he is not a #1 option. on the warriors, he's one of the best two-way players in the league as well as one of the most deadly shooters. but you put him on a team where he possibly becomes a primary ball handler or at least has to bring the ball up more frequently and he's gonna average 5.5 TOs a game. i'll give klay this, he's done a lot better in decision making in transition and in fast break situations this year and is constantly improving in facets of the game but i can't imagine him being the leader of a team.
what i think folk lose sight of is the fact that the warriors are a sum of all their parts, rather than just steph+KD. maybe i'm a homer but the way this team plays makes everyone look better on both ends of the court.
Okay, I hear ya...I don't peg Klay as a ball handler, but I do think he's undervalued, strictly because he stays in the shadows. He's much more than a C or D option, as he is right now.
60-points in 3 quarters not a number one option? I doubt it. Klay most definitely a number one option if he goes to another team that lacks a superstar better than him.
You pull the list of all the NBA players in history who have scored over 60 points in a game and all of them were number 1 options.
Yes, even Tom Chambers' 27.5 ppg for the '89-90 Suns
Swept those bumass Lakersgot into a debate with my boy over this warriors vs the 04 pistons team. I hit him with so much undeniable facts and ideas. He said the word 'will'. I let em cook.
He truly believes they don't get swept and actually win.
Such a great defensive team that they "held" Shaq to 26.6 points on .631 shooting? A shooting percentage that is actually higher than any of his three historically great 3-peat finals. That maybe was the greatest defensive team of all time. I think they'd get a game.
Who really held Shaq in check ever?

Klay is not a number 1 option, I swear y'all don't watch basketball. Dude is a GREAT shooter, but he can't create his shot off the dribble nor does really facilitate other players scoring.
The looks he gets are because of a superb system and Draymond's passing ability. If he's your number 1 option, your team ain't going very far.

Someone really gotta injure Curry tonight for the future of the league.

If the Cavs lose Bron about to hit up the Black Mamba and Time Duncan after the game to convience them to come out of retirement to sign with the Cavs for the vet minimum.
The funniest thing about this tweet is that he's talking about competitiveness yet he posted it when he had the most promising supporting cast in the league: Westbrook, Harden and Ibaka. And he was taking shots at how stacked the Heat were, yet his own team were considered the favorites when he met them in the 2012 Finals:
