KD looks this good because he finally has a good team around him instead of chuckell chuckbrook and scrubs

KD has elevated his play from the regular season this year on the game's biggest stage primarily against the guy who's recognized as the best in the game. This isn't rocket science. Like lakersman said we were right here last year at Game 4 after Steph dropped 38 and Bron had yet to get going in the series. If they had won Steph would have taken the throne last year.

So who is now? KD? If KD is doing the same thing now that he was doing in OKC, and Lebron was the best as you said, what changed that? The team he's on? KD's game has evolved nor did he ascend to some better version of what he was last year or the year before. He's just with a different crew. Wouldn't the light shine brighter if you're in the spotlight longer than usual?
Two differences. He's playing with superior shooters. And he's playing with a lot more floor space. Same skill set and everything but because he has an easier lane to the hoop his dominance shows. I'd still take LeBron in any game of one on one against anybody in the world.

KD does have more space no doubt to operate offensively, but he is playing even better defense individually than he was last year in OKC.

This is ramble.

KD looks this good because KD is this good.

KD has always looked this good, and been this good.

He isn't "just now" getting a good team around him.

He's always had that too.

If anything he's as comfortable as he's ever been, because he's not the focus. (This is huge)

That is just basic Basketball though.

Easier to score when you aren't double teamed.

KD hasn't been double teamed since last MAY.

That doesn't make him better.

That means he's in a better situation.

He is the EXACT same player though.

Klay as a #1 option would be similar to Michael Redd.

And skill set, LeBron is better than Jordan.  That 6-0 argument in the Finals is the only thing people hold over LeBron's head.
But lebrons been there more times and mj was getting knocked out of the playoffs

been there more times and less rings. great argument.

Offensively he's the same player. Defensively he's better than he's ever been. Therefore he's a better player. The gap was miniscule between him & Bron before and now KD has gotten better on the end of the floor that Bron has gotten progressively worse every season since 13.

Yeah he couldn't get past one of the great teams, the Boston celtics. Who ended winning the chip one of those years .

"Check his stats though. Im sure it wasn't his fault" we got to give Jordan the same passes /"context" we give LeBron when he loses in the finals.
. Was Jordan an underdog in those series? How much help did he have? If he wasn't the favorite it doesn't count against him and we can't be holding those first round losses against him. It just wouldn't be right

Lebron loses a lot of clout in the Cavs organization as it pertains to free agency if he loses tonight.

JR has already coined the trademark though. If Adam Silver is a smart man, he knows what to do...

He didn't "get better defensively" either.

He was always this guy, this length, this threat.

GSW has same length OKC has/had if not more, key is the scheme and Team Defense is better.

This is just false he always had the length and tools yes. He didn't always put them to good use and with the effort this year, especially the challenge on-ball.

you ready to celebrate tonight?

I'm off it though.

Game 4 is here and I'm stoked it came 2 days later instead of 3, pretty happy to see this happen tonight.

I hope it ends tonight, anyway, but it won't.

He's just a butt hurt OKC fan. KD has stepped it up. This was not the same guy in the back half of the GSW series. This was not the same guy from the 2012 Finals.

He's making plays when it matters during winning time. To not acknowedge that is to be disingenuous.
