Russell's Celtics are in a different category. In the modern era, they could have the greatest 3 year run starting this season, but they must 3 peat.

They could.. definitely could

Right now they got 1 title and been to the finals 3 times

Heat went to 4 straight, won 2

Cavs are probably going to their 3rd straight finals as well

until the dubs can string together a decade long run where they can get 3-4 rings, they can't be considered any where near the celtics, lakers, bulls, spurs dynasties regardless of how good their regular season records are. but **** it, idc im gonna enjoy this run while it lasts

I understand @KingFoamNYC's perspective. They got so much overwhelming talent they are expected to win and be dominant, if they don't lose or even the Cavs take it to 7 games, that's kinda sad for them.

This is trying hard?

:{
yeah you bringing up 4 hof in they prime from the 80s before free agency was a thing and keeping teams together was easy to do.

modern nba and that era of the nba cannot be compared. i dont think well see another team with 4 hof in they prime again , but you never know.

agreed on the lets see part. nothing is guaranteed.

While I greatly appreciate the credit.. It really ain't that hard.. just gotta know a lil bit of history and figure odds

80s celtics and lakers are easy.. just gotta guess odds on who would have the 3rd and 4th guys with enough of a resume.. like 90s bulls, gotta figure out if kukoc is in or if he has a shot at getting in with the international ball factored in

bruh, cavs could take it to 15 games, who cares. whether it be a sweep or a series decided by a 4 point margin, a title is a title is a title

and if lebron is as great as NT swears, it shouldnt be a surprise if cavs take it to 7

A reasoned response.. right here

And since you're in the habit of speaking/answering for others, I specifically asked him what exactly he was talking about because I wanted the person with the raiders avy to tell me his views on the patriots

Just looking at the 2001 Lakers, Shaq and Bean really were on some other ish in the playoffs:

vs Blazers (3-0) average margin of victory 14 ppg
Shaq-27/16/3
Kobe-25/4/8

vs Kings (4-0) average margin of victory 9 ppg
Shaq-33/17/2
Kobe-35/9/4

vs Spurs (4-0) average margin of victory 22 ppg
Shaq-27/13/3
Kobe-33/7/7

vs Sixers (4-1) avg margin of victory 7ppg
Shaq-33/16/5
Kobe-25/8/6

Yeah I'm biased but this is better than what the Dubs have done.
People don't realize, the finals were the WCF those 3 years. The East couldn't compete, NO BIGS!

Meh, as long he's not out there calling plays In sure the Warriors shrugs/chuckles his words off and don't think think about for more that 10 seconds. All of what he says is backgrounds noise to me.

I mean the point was pretty obvious. I highly doubt we see 4 hall of famers like this in their prime. Bron/Wade/Bosh was close but that only lasted 4 years... Wade was kinda older and Bosh got that disease. This team obviously hasn't done in yet, but the fact that they're in the same room as the 90s bulls and the 3-peat Lakers is ridiculous. Personally I think it's the best team I've ever seen but I could see why someone wouldn't agree (or at the very least wants to see them officially when it in June + next 2 years). I'm just saying this level of dominance is stupid. They're the best offensive team and the best defensive team. It's not supposed to be this way lol.

This isn't football, so I'm not sure what you wanna do with that comparison. Football is a salary cap sport as well, but the Pats got Brady taking pay cuts (they got the GOAT at the most important position) and the best coach in the game so it's not really comparable. Supplement a great QB with a great coach/orginazation and you can compete for 15 years in the NFL. Hell, the raiders are boutta do it with Carr (even more than Khalil Mack) and Reggie McKenzie :)

You may want to look at the contract for mr one and only unanimous MVP, also when it ends.. also the terms of Durant's 2nd year of his deal

You said:
This type of **** doesn't happen in salary cap sports.

I personally think the 90's Bulls had a much better 3 year span than this current Warriors team. Even considering the 73-9 record.

BUT if this year's team can go 16-0, that would be one Hell of an accomplishment. As someone else said, barring any major injuries, this Warriors team may very well be on the brink of the beginning of a 3-peat :{

What an incredible time to be a fan of the NBA.

I mean the point was pretty obvious.

What you are saying is convenient, it's not obvious

What if bron and cavs win the title?

What if curry and/or KD decide to leave?

What if KD opts in for his 2nd year, then leaves after that?

I highly doubt we see 4 hall of famers like this in their prime.

If rondo somehow makes the hall, the '08 celtics would have 4

I'm not following. You think they're not resigning?

They have that ability.. I don't know either personally.. I can't/won't assume what they will do

And technically, Durant has the ability to remain with the team without resigning
