I’m over them trying to get Kawhi at this point, either SA is gonna take the offer we sent or not.

I’m good with running it back with our current squad and seeing the improvements from Joel and Ben and seeing what Markelle can bring.

We’ll have over $40 mil in cap room next summer, we can take another shot then.

I could definitely see that but that would make trading for Kawhi a hell of a lot more tricky that would look pretty bad if he traded us Kawhi then left the Spurs right afterward to join us

The Philadelphia 76ers attempted to hire Daryl Morey away from the Houston Rockets as general manager.

Morey has been with the Rockets over the past 12 seasons. Morey received his latest contract extension from the Rockets in June 2017, which at the time extended his deal through the 2021-22 season.

The 76ers are searching for a replacement for Bryan Colangelo.

Philadelphia also had interest in RC Buford.

This offseason has been pretty bad so far:

• Colangelo firing
• losing out on LeBron & PG
• Kawhitemare
  
• Bolden sucking
• Trading a perfect fit draft for a project (and a pick) for the hopes of a trade that most likely won't happen
• Still not having a GM
• A depleted bench

Honestly, there are only two things that can save this offseason:

1. If Fultz remembers how to play basketball
2. We get the right GM

This summer is pretty much a wash. We should just focus on improving internally and get the right management onboard.

He's mellowed out alot over the years apparently. Was well liked in NY.

Pretty damn surprised...but we’ll have about $50 mill in cap space next offseason with a bigger crop of stars to throw some money at.

We better hope Fultz is amazing this season and that Zhaire is further along than he showed in summer league.

Yeah just gotta hope Fultz takes a big step forward like he's expected to. Zhaire I think will already be a great defender from the start..something that was missing from that Celtics series. Chandler can fill in at the 3 and 4 just fine. Biid & Ben will be even better than last year. Sucks that we missed out on the superstars, really sucks...but we still have our own young superstars that'll keep us in the hunt.

Still think we need a backup big tho.
