This team needs a gunner like Beal or CJ who can take the pressure off embiid and spread things out. There is literally not 1 guy who is taking defenders off the bounce and scoring from the perimeter

Am I also the only one that thinks Monty Williams is just collecting a check right now? First of all, I haven’t seen this dude do so much as even make an emotion during any game yet. I see him doing absolutely nothing just sitting there on the bench with a blank stare on at all times.

I wouldn’t go that far yet but Brown needs to start making some changes now.
Move Dario to the bench and start JJ.
Banish Amir with TJ and have Mike play the backup center minutes.
Experiment with some more small ball lineups.

It was almost three years ago and I know exactly what happened and I do feel for him for what happened to his wife. I lost my dad this past February...but if I came in to my job and looked just completely nonexistent every day when a lot is expected of me then I’m pretty sure my boss wouldn’t want me there any longer regardless of what happened in my personal life.

Maybe he's told to not chime in when Brett is addressing the team, since he's new? Don't know what to say. I do know Lloyd Pierce was a good assistant last year and he seems to be helping Trae Young learn the league .

Lloyd Pierce was a legit second head coach to the team. Going from that to seeing Monty Williams looking basically checked out from day one is quite an adjustment.

He’s just trying to protect his brand. He knew going into the **** with Fultz that putting your name on the line with a mentally unstable player like that came with its consequences. Now we’ll see if he goes into damage control.

Fultz probably had his most consistent game. +14 and helped build and keep a lead when the “usual” starters couldn’t
Defense has gotten a lot better since the start. I expect him to be hitting that 15 ft pull up consistently come January

I'm satisfied. I was worried that it would be Fultz/Saric, but I can live with giving up Covington/Saric.
The way I see it... Jimmy is a major upgrade from Covington and while I like Saric, he hasn't looked great to start this season and I don't really know if he has another level in him.
