Bridges is exactly who we need right now. Who knows, maybe Minny would have taken Bridges instead of RoCo but those are just IF scenarios.

I personally don't buy that Smith was their "1B", I think that's semantics after treating for him and the pick.

It's weird, they say they're in win now mode but made trades specifically for the future.

I don't understand why it takes so long for Brown to make changes. Do coaching decisions have to be a vote by the board just like GM moves or something?

Brett Brown refuses to make changes period. That goes for everything.

We played a good game for the most part. Even a good fourth quarter. Should have given the ball to Jimmy or Embiid onthatlast possession. Give your two star players an opportunity to make that shot on national television on Christmas.

Jesus wasn't stopping Kyrie those last few possessions. Very satisfied with the defense Jimmy played on him

It is what it is, much more competitive than opening night. I still think we can take them in a 7 game series.

We were up 7 when Ben came back in. Boston switched the gameplan to double Embiid and let Simmons try to beat them. He got passive again.

That last shot attempt? Yes it was a good look for JJ but thats not what I want in a tie game when we have Embiid (who was 12-12 on the FT line) and Jimmy. Players would could get a call

1 adjustment from Brown and we win. Just 1. Simple as run a damn PnR with Jimmy/Embiid

Seen a screen grab somewhere of the box score at the 10 minute mark of the 3rd quarter.

Korkmaz/Shamet/McConnell/Muscala had played a combined 36 minutes at that points.

They all combined for a whopping 0 points. Unacceptable.

Definitely a disappointing L yesterday but at least we look better now then we did the first game of the season.

What’s the point of trading for the number one 4th quarter scorer if your not going to give him the ball with the last possession in a tied game?

Also terrible job getting JoJo the ball in the 4th quarter and OT when he was ballin out.

Ben really needs to get his **** together against the better teams, he’s looked mediocre every time this season so far.

Liquor and blunts had me ready to break my damn TV in that 4th qrt. Bad possessions and just Brett not running any plays really was tough to watch

man that 3rd qrt now was awesome wish we could have some more of those

straight dominated.

Both should be back around ASB imo

I’m just so tired of the back and forth with the Fultz situation where we don’t know what the **** is actually going on because one second the kid and everybody in the organization is saying he’s “100% healthy” and “doesn’t have the yips” then he goes out and plays and all the sudden it comes back again and he’s shut down once again. Like if the Fultz we’ve gotten over the past year is what we’re gonna get even after rehab then okay. That version of him could probably still be a high level role player and we can work on it from there. But I just wanna finally know what we can expect from him so we’re not let down again or putting faith in him to be a certain player he’s never going to be.

One thing that did come out of the sports radio talk that did make sense is that they mentioned that Markelle Fultz agent has been the one leading the narrative here regarding his health. Which is not how it should be

Well Brand was the one who said Fultz will be there for the Christmas game, not the agent FWIW. Also Brand mentioned first about the rehab going well with an update shortly after the Christmas game

Agent came out and said all that since Brand was non committal on playing again this season, which I agree with as there's nothing set in stone in terms on how to come back from it. The same non commitment is why the agent "shut him down" in the first place BUT Brand's non committal I agreed with more than what Brown did after the Phoenix game.

Solid W tonight and a nice way to bounce back after the tough loss to Boston.

This was just an ugly and unfun game to watch through out, Philly only seemed in sync during small parts of the 2nd and 3rd quarter.

This 4th quarter offense ain’t it, BB needs to go back to the drawing board.
