2018/19 Philadelphia 76ers Thread: The Process Continues

the fact Ben is starting to shoot the ball tells me he will be taking jumpers fairly soon

all the haters gonna be in trouble

Almost another big lead lost but still a solid W.

Refs were on one this game, **** was ugly through out and had no flow.

Ben gotta relax with the stat padding on the defense rebound end. He got JoJo in the face when he Embiid clearly had the rebound. Happened multiple times throughout the game

Ben has done that constantly this year with the rebound hunting. **** is annoying as hell. There’s been a handful of other times throughout the year where he’s done it when the other guy had a wide open rebound and ended up tapping it over to the other team instead.

Yep, and I hear fans defending it by saying guards need to crash the boards to start the fastbreak as soon as possible...

Not when Embiid is by himself grabbing the board. Run the floor for the outlet pass Ben....

Well Ben isn't a PG sooooo lol

Only player I recall Brown mentioning he wants to crash the glass hard is Markelle and that was only to get him more engaged when playing off ball. If the rebound is there, I've seen guards go for it but not in traffic where Embiid is there. Ben used to do that **** with Dario a lot too

Welp. Threw some money on the sixers to cover tonight.

Hop on Twitter literally a minute later and find out Chandler and Butler are out with a respiratory infection and Embiid is questionable

Don't let me down Ben :lol

So a possible starting lineup of...

Ben
JJ
Furkan
Mike
Amir

Ehhhhhhhh

Too many missed games from dudes getting upper respiratory infections

More Jonah on the bright side. Wish Shake was with the team currently

How did Jonah play in yesterday's game? I just saw the stats but wanted to know how he played.

Best game. Active on defense. Knows when get open after double.

You know how Brown has his 3 lineups. Starters, Ben/Jimmy, JoJo/JJ

Jonah works best with Embiid as his 4 rather than as Simmons 5

Yea Jonah showing he can play alongside embiid is huge. He’s an active body on both ends. Really hope they keep using Ben in the post. They just needa learn how to get it into him quicker, he usually has position early against the smaller guards.

The fouls will go down the more playing time he gets as he will get used to the pace.

It really seems like to rotations are better served with Ben and Butler playing more minutes together and Joel being surrounded by shooters.

The one thing that did concern me is that when it's Ben's turn to make a play, Embiid is usually out of that play and sits at the corner. It's like they completely ignore each other out there and take turns. That's not a good look, especially down the stretch.

Not sure if that's a coaching decision or they're just grew apart.

Part coaching, part knowing each others weaknesses.

With Ben there no point in guarding him on the perimeter since he wont shoot it, and if he drives just foul him.

With Embiid its different since he isnt afraid to launch it. When Embiid has hit a few 3s, things open up. That ugly pump fake works and then the D collapses

This will be a recurring theme...our f****** management team will never move fast enough because Elton Brand is a puppet who needs owner buy-in for any move.

We will never win this way.

Think about going to a game next Friday. Are the all Centennial north and south all inclusive seats worth it?
