So basically from what I’ve read these last pages is if the Brons win, then he will be the unquestioned GOAT, but if he loses again, it will be because he needs more help? So he’s essentially in a win win situation

The Way things have played out in these playoffs honestly is gonna Help GS A lot imo.
They played against a team in the pelicans who played the highest pace in the league, Took a lot of threes, and had a guy in AD who is excellent in the Pick & Roll and also a versatile rim protector/big who can switch. Hou is a better team but in terms of style and strengths GS already has some practice on how to get prepared for Hou.
Meanwhile Hou is coming off playing a team with one of the slowest paces, one individual scorer, and a team that plays the complete opposite of GS. That huge of a style switch may be cause for concern in the beginning of that series, Especially with the first two games being in their arena. The pressure is big on them where i expect GS to be more relaxed because all their guys have been there & seen it all. Playing this injured Jazz team was a horrible warm up for GS.

LeBron winning this year would be impressive in my book. To go through everything he has this season, playing 82 games, having the best statistical year and carrying the entire load? If he can figure out a way to knock off the Warriors or Rockets this season, there's some serious merit to the discussion of him being the GOAT. Losing those NBA Finals hurts a lot though. It's a blemish that may never go away.

Two weeks ago we were talking about lebron potentially losing in the first round. Now people are acting like the Cavs are going to win a championship. The faceplant is going to be great.
