How is MS poised to be one the first to move forward with sports gambling?!

NBA asked for 1% off the top. If they get it, some of it has to find its way to the salary cap, right? 1% should be a ton of ****ing money.
Even tho Mississsippi is one of the leading backwards states they always been up on gambling, all types or river boat casinos and other ways to gamble down there...sharp contrast to a state like Georgia where they treat gambling n alcohol like we still in the prohibition days :smh:

Outside of being incredibly opportunistic and being business men (which there's nothing wrong with), there's really no comparison to what Bron and KD did and everyone here knows it. This isn't black and white.

Dudes just ha...........ahem strongly dislike Bron. I don't get it but whatever.

Just colorado kobe lovers. Bron's greatness is their achilles heel so they try to deny it.

i think ppl forget what the 2011 heat were, in the finals they started:

Lebron
Wade
Bosh
Joel Anthony
Mike Bibby

with chalmers, haslem and juwon howard off the bench. not exactly a made team

oh yeah.gif

If they dont talk about the gambling i dont wanna see that ****. Dude was an impressive gambler

I wanna get the real stories of some of his escapades..

Like the rumor of the flu game about dude really just being super hungover.. or the rumor of how dude went and played a ton of golf before a finals game and you could see dude was noticeable darker from being out in the sun all day

I get why they both made they moves but if KD was so okay with it his fake Twitter account wouldn’t have to exist.

Fact of the matter is Lebron ain’t joining a team that beat him, let alone coming back from 3-1. Lebron was ***** for leaving Cleveland but what KD did was straight up against the unspoken code of sports. ****ted on Russ on the way out too. KD’s only friends are Klay, Steph and Draymond. Nobody else in the league ****s with him. Think about that....

If this is a true OJ-style documentary it could be amazing. I want to see the real Jordan, ***-hole. If it's another hagiography than whatever I'm out. That story's been told.

For those using the 47 win Miami Heat team the year before Lebby joined are being intentionally dense.

The team was designed not to truly conpete. Riley got everyone that he could that had only 1 year left on their deal in order to have the cap space needed to sign LeHelp & Bosh to their max deal

The only remaining players from that 2010 team to make the rister the following year were Wade, Joel Anthony, Mario Chalmers, Jamal Magloire, James Jones, Carlos Arroyo and UD

The 2011 team was conoletely different from the 2010 team.

Lol they both made ***** moves going by the code of sports. Both wanted as little competition as possible in their way. Bron successfully did it in his conference as evidenced by his consecutive Finals streak. KD looks to have done it to the league as a whole.

You cant drop a bomb like this and not put the link here.

When the Miami rumors started.....

When he made the decision

https://niketalk.com/threads/official-lebron-2010-thread-the-decision-miami-heat.250830/page-116

Pages upon pages of dudes calling him “b-made”, saying he “took the easy way out” etc.

A lot of people today truly forget what the team building model was like pre-decision. It was all but an inevitability in Miami....just like it was all an inevitability when KD did it 6 summers later.

I enjoyed the day Bron went to Miami because it was hilarious to see so many people turn on him in an instant.

The jersey burning by the Cleveland fans... My god it was amazing :lol:
