agreed . Best pf in the east and a top 15 player but not a superstar. Klay and Dray aren't superstars either.

Except that there were several Chris Boshes in the league and there is nobody remotely like Draymond. Draymond is by far better to have as the #3 guy than having Bosh as a #3 guy.

Everyone stat pads to a certain extent but to act like Bron is putting up empty stats is pretty dumb.

Empty stats, to me, just means

A. Big numbers on a bad team
B. Big numbers that don' t necessarily lead to winning

The #1 and #2 (Pre-KD) on GSW best assets were SHOOTING
The #1 and #2 on MIA were making plays with the ball in hand. Slashing, Ball Stoppers.

So I would say Both Bosh and Draymond's #3 roles were VERY complimentary to what the 1st/2nd options were doing.

Facts. Not only that....KD & Steph can, and have done EXACTLY what Bron is doing right now.

Put up video game stats on a team where your production is highly counted on for gems to win. Harden is doing the exact same thing right now. KD & Steph don't need to. But they are more than capable if you gave them an insane usage.

No doubt the teams were very good but they weren't close to as deep as the Durant-era Warriors. Similar situations, but different.

He was playing with two guys who like to control the ball. Let Bosh play as a floor spacing 5 in todays league where passing and spacing is at a premium

Morey came out and said that this team was built to beat GSW at their own game...that’s false. Gsw offense isn’t predicated on one man dribbling and “creating” for himself/teammates. There’s a lot more movement off-ball, which I wouldn’t say is the case for houston. As soon as luc, ariza and gordon weren’t hitting last nite houston moved away from anything away from the ball and it came down to harden/cp. Of course you wouldnt change your offensive scheme this late in the season but why play an entire season running an offense that would become predictable and easy for golden state to stop in a seven game series this late into the playoffs? If bron/kyrie couldnt do it, im not confident harden and cp would be able to.

I will say that the warriors have the luxury of having 4 dudes who can facilitate (steph, kd, draymond, iggy) but the same could nearly be said about the rockets between harden, cp, and gordon. Only thing is, gordon has been relegated to being a streaky shooter. Houston could create more offense if they let gordon share the ball handling load while harden and cp3 worked off screens from capela and ariza. sure he turned it over a lot last nite but how much of it has to do with him playing outside of what he’s become used to in houston?

And i bring up klay because you harp on the “houston big three” outplayed steph/klay/dray story. Yet Outside of harden, statistically no one on houston “outplayed” klay.
