He deserves slander for yesterday's game (Mainly due to some of the ridiculous turnovers) but he's def the last person who's stats determine his game. dude has been great on defense & been boxing out / fighting for loose balls. Game one he was creating pretty well for the W's yesterday he was just trying to do too much.

He’s only been bad for one series (2016 Finals) that was inexcusable. Idk where the idea that he was bad in game 1.
He had 18pts 8ast 6rbs 2stls 1to on 8/15 FG (53%) and held his own defensively. 7/9 in the paint too. His 3ball just ain’t fall and he ain’t get to the line. He played a “traditional pg” type game and it’s what they needed in game 1.
He was bad last night in game 2 though. Theres waaaay more actual evidence of Steph being great in the playoffs.

Again, this aids into exactly what I was mentioning as well with the Rockets controlling the MOMENTUM of Game 1 until Ariza got into foul trouble and of course Game 2. The Rockets switches on defense forces Golden State to play into iso ball. And then the question becomes....who’s better at iso ball

He was horrid in game 2. Piss poor on defense. And that’s more so because of the back cuts he allowed and lack of focus than getting scored on.
In game one....he was much better on defense. Actually a plus on that end. Forgot what the numebers were...but they were favorable in iso for Steph in game one. Caused some some big to’s down the stretch too.

Looking too deep into this. Houston isn't as GOOD as golden state is defensively, (Hence the losing of klay in G1) but they have the exact same principles defensively.
