folks conflating the argument about steph's defense vs. bron's defense from a few seasons ago with this notion of him being touted as "elite"
he's not elite but steph is a better on-ball defender than folks give him credit for. but the first two games of the series, he's been reaching in, trynna poke the ball too much against paul instead of working to beat him to a spot.

Yeah, I will never equate 'elite defender' with Steph. He's average. Players like Kyrie, Harden, Russ, etc. Will exploit him.

Well that's not saying much to dispel the elite defender those are 3 of the best offensive players in the league. He's slightly above average for the most part but that's it.

Bummed the Warriors lost. Concerned about the health of Steph. He's looked frustrated on the court and defense has been TERRIBLE.
There was a play in last night's game where Steph was guarding the backdoor cut, but Steph never turned around to see Ariza open for the dunk. That was frustrating.
Still believe the Warriors will win the series.

Not even sure why you still defend yourself/your team about this.
My post really had nothing to do w/ KD.
I was just pointing out GS's shakiness against LBJ before his arrival.
They were clearly scared of him just like OKC KD was.
Which is exactly why KD went from "what happened to going at these people's" to joining a 73 win team.
A team that you had on the ropes 3-1 but couldn't close it out when you're "1a/1b" with LBJ.
