I can respect these takes. However if I could get a 2BR/2BA condo in the Northeast (Philly or DC) for $1MM or a McMansion in ATL, Charlotte, St. Louis, etc for the same price or cheaper, I’m choosing the condo in DC.

Because of the money, power and prestige, I also feel that it attracts more diversity because so many people are chasing those. I do a lot of work in Charleston, SC and i was there for five days earlier this year and I could count the number of black folks I saw on one hand. I was shocked.

Hey, like I said all things being equal I'd rather live in DC, LA or NY. if you have a million dollars to spend on a house then by all means by your house in any area of the country the issue is that very few people have a million dollars to spend on a house most people have less than half that actually.

The thing is, in Atlanta or Houston you could pay $300,000 or $400,000 for a house and bank the other $700 or $600,000 or save that for retirement, college for your kids, side businesses, real estate or stock market investing, etc.

Where I'm at, people are putting down payments of $100,000 to $200,00p for a home. Most young people don't have that kind of money saved up.

NYC is gentrified so it’s gonna be expensive unless you have rent control.

NYC was always expensive. Gentrification made it worst, I'm assuming you have rent control and props to you but unfortunately for regular folk NYC is extremely unrealistic

Personally I live in a one bedroom with my girlfriend for 1900 total in a part of Brooklyn we love. Coupling up makes things a lot easier. Will admit I've never lived without roommates. But you know, you walk out on the street in Brooklyn on a summer day and there's not many places like it.

If I told you what I previously had or invested in due to coupling you'd laugh in my face. Make sure your paperwork right 100% big dog

But most rich Nyers and Celebrites and athletes from NY live in Jersey. Jersey is one of the richest states in the country.
Live in central NJ. Way too many municipalities in NJ, which factors in to taxes and such. And NJ for some reason decided to fully fund the schools thru property taxes which doesn't help. CT, NY and NJ spend no less than $18k per student compared to about $9k in the south. Other than that, it's ok here I guess

Yea there are a grip of municipalities. I like how everything is close in NJ though. I hated driving for an hour and still being in Houston when I lived in H town.

Warriors were absolutely crap in the 4th . Just finished watching the game. Embarrassing but Houston did what they had to do . Glad it was a close game.

Been telling people Houston is legit. Everytime gs wins people run that" they unbeatable takes and kd ruined the league"
Nah. No such thing as unbeatable.

Son had the opportunity to shoot the pull up mid range jumper too but he was shook.

Let 6’5 PJ Tucker make him pass up the rock with 8 seconds left on the clock. Bigger than everyone else and doesn’t even attempt to drive to the basket and draw the foul.

He knows the basketball gods are coming for him.
