The 2014 Black Infrared were made completely different than the others from 2014. I had both the white and black pair; the black pair was more narrow, it was tighter, the upper was shorter, and the ankle pods were flatter than the white pair.

I might have to disagree. The white and black infra look and feel the same. Along with Carmines and Maroons. They all look to have the same shape and height to me. Ankle pods look the same also. The 2010s along with the 2000s are way to bloated compared to the originals.

They’re not the same. In regard the fit, I’m talking about my pairs and my feet, which felt different, so I don’t think we can disagree on that. With many of my Jordan’s, I’ve observed that some leather based ones fit better than nubuck based ones. I’m not saying it’s fact for all, just an observation. My Motorsport 4 fits great compared to my 2012 Bred 4 of the same size.

The ankle bumps were a littl flatter on the Black Infrared. It’s something I noticed on my pairs. The same is true for my bro’s Carmine 6s. They were all flat compared to his varsity reds. Aside from shape, the ankle bumps is a detail I’ve been following for a while since it has varied

I took a ton of pics of these, but I never thought to get a good photo of the heels(probably because of the jumpman).

2000 bumps were much larger than the 2010 and OG. 2010 was close, but maybe even a little smaller than the OG.

They are definately more comfortable than 2014s but i think the upper material is different! Need an NT expert to confirm

Jumping in out of nowhere but I will say this Aquamanjay_ is spot on about the ankle bumps. I have been annoyed with that detail since after the 2010 pairs because in high school that ankle bump was VERY reminiscent of a 90s shoe which is what the Jordan 6 did for me. The VI's that came later on were ridiculous.. The Varsity Red VI's had the worst/weird sued ever for a supposed Infrared VI and the shade was off but the shape of the whole shoe-ankle bumps included- were the best we had since those 2000 pairs.

Both White and Black 2010 VI's fit better too.. that boot brought an onslaught of hollow boot hard interiors.

I wonder if Kanye West’s will pick up a pair of these for old time’s sake. He wore the Infrared Pack pair SO much. I believe this influenced the surge in Varsity Red 6 hype in 2013. Most people probably couldn’t tell they were the Infrared pack pair since the pack pair is only a shade and a half lighter. Only reason I can tell is the air bubble is clear.

Until two years ago, I was more a fan of Kanye than any of those you mentioned. Been a fan since Late Registration. Musically and fashion wise.

Watching Kadeem on A different World did bring me back into Jordans in 2014 after having quit in 2011 tho

Like I said before, if these are treated like the Black Cement 3 release, from earlier this year... We won't get a picture, until after all of the December scheduled Jordan's, are released.
