Lovely man. The 6s man, the 6s. Imagine being 10 when these dropped, you got a stash spot in the tongue basically, and two holes to put the shoe on, and you got a clear sole? Are you serious? I know my mother has some pictures with me wearing these. This wa fifth grade for me, I remember at the time my best friend was big enough to have adult shoe but I was still GS (I think adult sizes were smaller back then I forget). I remember being jealous cause the adult sizes looked better.

Lovely, but I’m still a black guy. Never had the whites nor wanted them as a kid. I missed the 2000s, big regret from my life. I was 20 though, just had a kid, hold support, and like. 8 dollar an hour job. Wish I could have had them. You lucky to have had the 2000s too.

You already know then. I’d have a “shrine” like that if I had a house instead of 1050 sqf 2 bedroom. For some reason I feel like 6s are getting more popular than they were however many years ago. Hopefully these are easy to cop I’d definitely pay up for them if I have to.

2300? Maybe in queens. A one bedroom in my building is like 4K and my building is a pos. I spend slightly over 6k and my building is a pos on the upper east side. Somewhere cool like the lower east side my ****ty wack *** apartment would be like 8k. I have old *** parquet floors and a wack building from 1975. The city is a mothet****er. Only good part is you make bread here. Key is to get your bread up and then relocate down south where 600k let’s you live like a king. Plus nyc has no culture like it did in the 80s and 90s bunch a rich people from Ivy League schools.

Yeah, Manhattan rent is worse than LA for sure. Just curious, what’s your career that allows you to be cool with spending $72K/year in rent? I’m still pissed i spend $30K here in LA. You’re obviously clearing more than $200K/year easy.

The company I was working for in Indianapolis was bought out by a German company. They moved it along with several others to Culver City to put the companies under one roof. They offered severance or relocation packages of course. My wife and I took severance. Several of my younger coworkers relocated. One in particular pays $4000 a month rent. In general no one owns their living space. Everyone I know is renting out there. A few have already moved back and some are already looking for jobs to move back.

Strategy consulting. NYC is crazy though, you cant live well unitl you make 1MM a year. Most places that number is like 300k. Even on that 1MM a year your place will only be 1600 sqf where as down south on 300k you could afford like 4000sqf or something. Telling you, i live no better today, than when i was 23. In fact my apartment at 23 was much nicer than my place now. Its sad really, I also have to stash shoe boxes in random *** places, cant keep them all together.

I don’t know why, I keep trying to get into these and I just can’t. I had them back in 91 but they just haven’t endured as one of my favorites. I might end up with a pair, if I can walk into a store and see them first. Just not sure when I would really wear them.

The first talks about materials like nubuck, suede etc. broke out when the Nubuck 12’s first released back in 03 with the sweater and matching hat from the JB holiday catalog. Damn memories.

I believe with this release they’re using the “aged” shade of the 1991 version because these are a little brighter than the 2000 version.

Amazing the shade debate with 6s. Im guilty as charged also with that. I dont know if Jb has the "aged" concept in their head here. They went too bright on the 2014, so I think they decided to go back to the deep infra look. It will be interesting to see comparison pics between this new release to the 2000 drop.
