I agree with you, but I am also ok with people doubting the Clippers. Might be good for them to take on more of an underdog mentality again.

That's the thing though, the Clippers were never as good as people thought they were. People were enamored with their potential and their fit on paper but that never came to fruition on the court. It's obvious that they need to improve their roster to actually get over the hump.

as a clips fan, i never saw them winning the chip last season, LAL always seemed like the clear cut choice for me
too many holes in our team and doesn't seem like much of it can be improved this coming year

If one were actually an astute basketball observer with marginal grasp on history, you could see the Clips being a farce from a mile away. They were a flawed team for a myriad of reasons: (chemistry, lack of leadership, coaching, bunch of specialists, the constant need to bloviate when nothing is substance had been accomplished). With the West being even tougher next season, if they don't make some significant changes/upgrades to their team they absolutely have a ceiling of a 2nd rd exit.

We'll see if the media and basketball intelliglencia falls for the hype again this season.
 
I'm putting gsw over the clips too as is and with upgrades since they have better assets. With holiday and CP3 off the market I think Lowry is the best point guard potentially available to improve their chances. Guys like d rose and rondo aren't gonna change the game for them

I’d throw in Utah as well judging on how they almost had Denver. Clips ain’t it, period
 
If they disrespect the regular season again, Clips could easily go home in round 1 with the wrong matchup.

Right now I have them the 4th best team and that could change with Dallas taking another step.
 
I’m not saying the Clips are the team to beat but I am saying they’re in the same class as Denver, Dallas, Bucks etc. If that bothers you, maybe you should go take a walk or something
 
I don't know the Clippers cap situation but don't they have to Pay Marcus Morris & Trez? i don't even think they have Marcus bird rights. They better hope for serious improvements from Shamet & Zu
