2020-21 NBA Offseason thread: Officially a wrap

Definitely not any in that first 5. Jarrett Allen I guess? Does Taurean Prince play defense?

Shamet tries on defense and usually looks like he’s in good defensive position, but still gets scored on a lot. He doesn’t have the length or strength to be a lock-down guy.

Imagine knowing had McHale not traded KG from Minnesota to Boston, the once great Celtics franchise would have Zero championships since '86.

Time for the ghost of Red Auerbach to relieve Danny of his duties.

Well the trade happened and they don't have zero championships since '86, so....

Doubt people are losing sleep over things that "may have not happened."

Between defense, health & a rookie coach, it’ll be interesting to see how they handle adversity. There will be tons of it.
Poor defense and questionable health seems like an uphill battle. Basically need to be as good as the 2016/17 Cavs offensively if you're going to suck defensively. East is much better now than it was during that time too.

Probably a humid take but the more and more time that goes by, the less faith I have in the Nets. I also can’t definitively say this but I feel like the Harden trade rumors must have created some dissension in the ranks. Not even from the dudes who would be in the trade but eem the two star players disagreed on it

Locker room has Lebby+Baby Lakers being traded vibes and it’s probably just because it’s the Brooklyn Nets but the team reminds me of the Billy King “super team” that was a disaster.

Kyrie played 20 ******* games last year, KD is coming off an Achilles injury and not having played in a game in 17 months and they have a guy who has never coached at any level before (FOH with “player development consultant”).

Why are we putting so much faith in them?

I don't think we'll ever see another prospect as hyped as LeBron. It's funny when I see people compare Zion's level of hype and anticipation compared to LeBron's. It's not even close, people were saying LeBron needed to be a Hall of famer or else he'd be a bust when he was in high school 🤣

Those Williamsburg white girls will have Kyrie all over the place, putting crystals all over the locker room and ****

Kyrie hitting arguably the biggest shot in NBA history to win a title in Game 7 of the Finals then subsequently celebrating with white yambs and chicken tenders+fries is not discussed or appreciated enough. Bland sauce with his yambs and condiments too :pimp:
