2020-21 NBA Offseason thread: Officially a wrap

Jeff Teague is semi-washed. Don't quite get Stevens' infatuation with him. He's obviously far from the player at Wake & prime ATL years.

Alfonzo would be a solid 7th/8th man, but he's certainly not the type of PG that would take the ball out of Tatum's hands in the halfcourt. Smart already does all the stuff Alfonzo does but can actually dribble and doesn't play soft.

Bruh you be killing me with these names 😂😂😂
Steve for my guy Steph
Alfonzo for my guy Lonzo

He's a backup guard making the minimum

13 and 6 on 45/38 splits in Minnesota last year. Perfectly fine for a backup.
Man, you got Cs blinders on to the max. Conveniently left out how "perfectly fine" Teague looked in his second Hawks stint and Stevens gonna start him while Kemba out. But oh I forgot, Ainge can do no wrong.

Boston may not get home court this year.

Team got no depth at all.

Teague was terrible when he got traded to ATL...The G league dude Goodwin was better and even taking some of his mins...If yo couldn’t split a back up role, I doubt he’s ready for more mins in Kemba’s absence :lol

Fatlock finally reached his goal, he been on Fox News heavy, obese heavy, during the election cycle, even hosted Glenn Beck's show in his absence.

How many jerseys does Miami have? Sheesh. They could wear a diff special jersey every game.

Home court probably gonna be moot again because this country is full of morons. Good chance we see bubble playoffs like the MLB. My prediction anyways. They ain't even letting 49ers play home games at home right now.

Hope I'm wrong.

A backup playmaker should be their #1 priority as of right now. With Kemba out, you got Smart, Tatum and Brown trying to make plays. Basically Clippers 2.0 without a championship coach. Yes, that was a shade.

Whatever Ainge can do with the trade exception, it should be catered towards that.
Philly wasn’t a real series but Tatum was actually over 6 assists against Toronto & Miami. Made me feel bad for calling him Melo when he was coming out of Duke.

Small sample size sure, but flashing that ability against the leagues best teams is huge IMO. He’s primed to take another step.

I think Stevens was infatuated with Teague in like 2015. When he was in his prime. That's when those quotes are from anyways. I doubt he expects that level of play 5-6 years later. He's probably just a 15-20 minute back up, occasional starter and vet presence now.

I don't think I've ever seen so much energy focused on a backup guard making the league minimum. There's basically no expectations. And he's going to be playing on a much better team than the awful Hawks and Wolves. The Celtics backup point guard averaged 7 and 3 last year in the regular season and 5 and 2 in the playoffs. Nobody is expecting anything different from Teague.

You legit said he's not the player he was at Wake and his first run with Atlanta. No ****
