Slightly different tho, Nerlens wanted a big payday after flaming out in Philly and just being serviceable in Dallas. German Rondo realistically could’ve gotten better than what the Lakers offered since he’s actually shown he can produce regularly. He played himself since the market was basically dry AF for guards (basically every big PG payday was a S&T except for resigns (Conley/Rose))Schroder and Noel were teammates right after Noel played himself on that big contract offer.
He saw the worst possible scenario up close and personal and STILL went this route.
He stunted his own career, that ain’t LeBron’s faultGuess we can add schroder to the list of guys whose careers were stunted from playing with lebron
Mehhhh
$2M > $109M
nothing like bringing horford back
You have to understand NOONE was going to come here and we sure wasnt going to pay someone $5M-$10M a year for a back up to embiid
if it dont work out guess what ?? They release him big deal and it only cost us $2M and some change
Its totally worth a try andmay work out who knows
fooling yourself though if you think its a bad move
There we go. Place feels a tad more normal now.Whoever came up with it, props. I like it.
He’s gonna start for roughly 15-20 games. That’s a given considering Embiid health. The issue is that during games, you can play him with -name redacted-, so unless you marrying Embiid and -name redacted- minutes, the signing doesn’t make senseMoney or not. Drummond going to want to start, no way Embiid takes a backseat. Simmons stays, that looks even worse.
All speculation of course.
It was a Lakers fan lolAhh, ok.... the ALA acronym must have been coined in my absence.

And what do you have to protect?? Lakers good, everybody loves them these days.
Lakers good, everybody loves them these days.
Bait lolFocusing on the 15 games Embiid sits >>>> getting past the second round
Agreed. IF the Sixers are dealing Ben, it’s for Dame. And all the timing and being quiet during the draft and FA points to them waiting to see how the situation plays out. He’s gonna start for roughly 15-20 games. Im on the hill that a deal is in place for Dame and it won’t happen til the Olympics is over. After the trade, Reggie gets brought in to be the backup guard
Ali
Joe Frazier
Sugar ray leonard
Roy Jones Jr
George foreman
8th seed max.F all this boxing and Schroeder talk…
how bout them Bulls?!?!?
Ehh that was Ramona who said that and we know she’s a plant lolAgreed. IF the Sixers are dealing Ben, it’s for Dame. And all the timing and being quiet during the draft and FA points to them waiting to see how the situation plays out.
also worth noting from that tweet yesterday about Sixers prefer Ben staying, Ben also prefers to get a fresh start.
I don't see the secondary/role guys as being any better than what they had. Could honestly probably look at it and say they're deeper but the playoff rotation might not be as talented past the top 3.Is the general consensus that the Lakers got better? Seems to be more of a lateral move talent wise
They got better to win this year. Long term who knows but they sorely lacked depth last year.Is the general consensus that the Lakers got better? Seems to be more of a lateral move talent wise
8th seed max.
I'll wait and see. This is such a departure from the previous two years. Is the general consensus that the Lakers got better? Seems to be more of a lateral move talent wise
Nobody has even mentioned how the moves well effect them defensively. Is the general consensus that the Lakers got better? Seems to be more of a lateral move talent wise
