Schroder and Noel were teammates right after Noel played himself on that big contract offer.

He saw the worst possible scenario up close and personal and STILL went this route.

Slightly different tho, Nerlens wanted a big payday after flaming out in Philly and just being serviceable in Dallas. German Rondo realistically could’ve gotten better than what the Lakers offered since he’s actually shown he can produce regularly. He played himself since the market was basically dry AF for guards (basically every big PG payday was a S&T except for resigns (Conley/Rose))

He’s gonna start for roughly 15-20 games. That’s a given considering Embiid health. The issue is that during games, you can play him with -name redacted-, so unless you marrying Embiid and -name redacted- minutes, the signing doesn’t make sense

Im on the hill that a deal is in place for Dame and it won’t happen til the Olympics is over. After the trade, Reggie gets brought in to be the backup guard

I don't see the secondary/role guys as being any better than what they had. Could honestly probably look at it and say they're deeper but the playoff rotation might not be as talented past the top 3.

Interested to see what wrinkles Russ brings, though. If he reigns himself in even a little bit, that trio has a chance to be crazy dynamic.

They got better to win this year. Long term who knows but they sorely lacked depth last year.

lebron is still obviously playing at a high level, but his load needs to be lightened. And AD is made of glass so they need to protect him for the playoffs.
