Yah but that's what I mean Lillard not a "good" passer

But Lillard is an effective as a passer...

He can get up to 8 assists a game in the NBA

But move it to FIBA and it looks way way way worse,

goes from being very effective to not adding any value as a passer.

usage is a lot lower too

What I’m saying tho is even with 8 assists nobody talks bout Dame’s passing, none of these games is telling us anything regarding Dame on this topic

NGL, Dame looking kinda funny in the light. To a certain degree, this is the most important game he has played as a professional.

No hate. I **** w/ Dame Time. Hate what I'm seeing, but there are my thoughts.

Its a combination. If you had everyone flat and had him run a million logo PnRs like he does in Portland he’d look a lot different.

But he’s not a genius level playmaker and he’s running a different offense where he’s not featured.

Even if you did that it still wouldn't look as good
No defensive 3 seconds guys, the spacing wouldn't be the same.

It amazes me that we cannot defend Rudy Gobert without fouling. We're playing him like he's prime Shaq 😆

Gobert doesn't have post moves

It's because he's more of a traditional big who seldom leaves the rim area, and damn near all our bigs grew up playing stretch 5s. My take.
