I don’t think OKCwants to win games. They just want to “win trades.” They’ll flip SGA for 2 non-lottery 1st round picks and a couple pick swaps and they’ll be perfectly content.

From OKC's perspective that trade would basically just be all about timeline, and not wanting to have to pay him and start that clock before they're actually ready to contend.

Or just thinking SGA is going to want to get traded out of OKC. Which is the same reason Detroit should have taken that trade. If anyone in this class is going to be better than SGA who was borderline all star and literally the best 1 on 1 shot creator last season, will it be before Grant's contract is up? And if I was them I'd ask for Kenrich Williams too and some Braums sundaes

And I agree Presti been washed. He just knows/feels he bought us an almost title so he can do no wrong and has been bulletproof. Deliberately making lopsided trades to lose on purpose or acquire "draft capital " just for the sake of doing so and thinking you're smarter than the room with 36 draft picks in the next 7 yrs, most of which wont be lottery or are 2nd rd, when you can have 15 players on a team. He just gonna keep perpetually flipping picks into more picks and t.e's.
And you still have to deal with the small market thing which was a problem even when we were good and had a world of potential and 3 mvp potential having *** dudes at 1nce in their early 20s wasnt nobody coming here but Derek Fisher and Nazr Muhammad. Nobody gonna re-sign here when we're trying to lose on purpose
I might get back into the season ticket and reselling game though because I peep all the Trump-ers and #stopthesteal contigent mad in social media posts still upset about the Black Lives Matter and they better stop disrespecting the troops, and that one time most the city was on blackout or conserve energy/water order after that ice storm and the Thunder played a game.

That’s exactly it. SGA doesn’t fit their timeline. They literally benched him to not win games. Him in the lineup gets them a pick in the 10-14 range and they can’t have that. That organization wants 2 top 5 picks in back to back years.
Why. He fits well because you’ll still have van fleet there as somebody to take the ball out of his hands. They don’t really have anybody in the middle. Also imo siakim isn’t itI don't think the Raptors want anything to do with Simmons
