Respect.

No doubt, JC isn't "supposed" to be in the NBA. But last I saw the man play, he was productive.

You telling me that Craw isn't AT LEAST as good as Lou Lemon Pepper Williams?

It just feels like once a narrative is formed on a player, people run with it and that's that.

I just wish more people would think for themselves and not just jump on a media driven bandwagon.

I knew Melo wasn't done when these media dudes were saying he was done.

Same way I feel about Crawford.

edit:

I'd take Jamal Crawford over TLC if I were the Nets.

I'd take Jamal Crawford over Frank if I were the Knicks.

I'd take Jamal Crawford over Danny Green if I were the Sixers.

I'd take Jamal Crawford over half that Warriors roster. Particularly Bazemore and red head dude.

Come on now.
As a huge Jamal Crawford fan, these are awful takes. You’d take him over Danny Green? And everyone was right about Melo. He stunk. Getting important minutes on teams that needed him he was awful. He was able to finally put his massive ego aside and play a bench scorer role in limited minutes and that got him a job again. And he’s pretty replaceable at that too.

ironic for you to be talking about not buying into media hype with these takes bevause they seem a little dated as far as basketball goes

That's fine. We can agree to disagree.

I stand by my "takes".

I specifically picked 3 and d guys in the edited portion for a reason.

shuges shuges

Are you factoring in efficiency when you are speaking of JC being "Productive?"

Or are you saying he can put up some numbers if he is given a semi-high volume of shots (Per role)?

Jamal Crawford is Big 3 material at this point

He's food on defense in the league now

Now?

:smh:

Knew that's where this was going next.

Not sure if you're being facetious, but the latter is exactly what I'm saying.

There’s no question Jamal is better than some of these no name dudes who are getting nba checks. It’s just that teams rather not give the that roster spot to a 40 year old when they could give it to a 22 year old 2nd rd pick project who will work his *** off to get better, get his teammates better, and potentially be a contributor in a year or so, while making less money than Jamal would make even on a vet minimum

Which makes sense. On the flipside Jamal got some good mileage out of his veteran presence for a few years after his play had fallen off. So it goes both ways but he finally passed that threshold a couple years ago.

BTW Jamal has had an incredible career, no tears to be shed there.

damn shuges you aint been around in a minute. you just get done doing a bid?

jamal crawford washed bruh. he still can shoot but teams need a man to stay in front of their man. jamal 40 years old

It's been said earlier, and I'll point it out--Jamal Crawford would be a huge liability on defense. Not only that, the economics aren't very favorable for him. You could get similar production from a younger player, with half the contract size.

This 3x3 basketball in the olympics makes me think of lil baby and chainz vs quavo and harlow. All thats missing is Fab airballs

I was legit asking.

But why shouldn't his efficiency be factored in?

When you say he deserves to be on a roster how do you not consider how inefficient he has been?

Because the inefficiency is tied into the "numbers if he is given a semi-high volume of shots (Per role)".

Meaning that if given the opportunity, he can still be productive in the exact same role he's had for years: volume scorer.

If he's not allowed to play to his strengths (the same exact strengths he's had over the years), then yeah, he's going to be "inefficient".

Was this same inefficiency factored in when he was busting his gun to the tune of 17 ppg?

Mans career fg% is 41%.

His last 4 full seasons in the League, he shot .397 (basically 40%), 41%, 41%, and 40%.

Yet, you guys are saying he can't play anymore.

Ok
