The Bucks Season ended September 8th, the season started December 22nd
The Heat Season ended October 11th, the season started December 22nd

Starting a season on a short layoff is tough. Who is denying that. The heat in general were fugazi though. They had depth to combat the short layoff. Probably as much as you could ask for. They just aren’t like that. They went into a 7 game series healthy and got abused. People in this thread were picking them to beat the bucks. Now they are tired?
at least the lakers can say AD was in and out and then out or Bron was out.

Why is it a dislike thing? What would you say about a healthy team getting swept the following year after making the finals. Better yet what would you say about Steph if he did the wait you hold it against him for missing the playoffs when he played like 5 games

Nunn? Lol are you serious. The guy doesn’t play unless people are injured and won’t play in meaningful games during crunch time.
Herro no one knew how to guard because he was a rookie with no video on him. His game was exposed After scouting reports
Duncan is serviceable for sure, learned how to shoot while drifting now. But these are all guys other teams attack none stop.

Nunn played 30 minutes per game last year. Started 44 of them. 38% shooter from 3. He doesn’t close every regular season game no because they have depth. He’s solid. Shame he went to LA but hey.

Sure they overachieved, but NT has a lot of recency bias. In the end of the day the stars that play on both of sides of the ball make it the farthest when it counts. He was THE guy on team that wasn’t supposed to be there. Level of competition was balanced, every team had the same bubble obstacles.

Jimmy doesn't fit the model of the "new" NBA that a lot of dudes in here love so he gets discredited constantly
