its crazy to me to see a guy like mac jones being spoken about going top 3 in the draft when i feel like a guy like josh heupel had a similar resume and was a 6th round pick

Doesn’t sound like it, but IMO that’s kinda dumb.
I get the logic “we know what Teddy’s ceiling is we don’t know with Darnold” but that’s just fooling themselves that Darnold has great untapped potential, while his floor is below sea level.

No one is trashing Darnold. I wish him success in Carolina.
Why is it so hard to understand it was the best decision for all parties to trade him? The fact that the Jets got the return that they did makes it all the better.

Did we not get that Top 5 pick, and a shot at all 3 of those QB's? Did I not say I don't care about Rosen?
Has anyone brought up the Jets traded three 2's and the #6 pick (that turned into Quentin Nelson) to get Darnold, and now have flipped him 3 years later and didn't take the three 1's and a 3rd for #2?
