KD is under contract so for entertainment the Nets should say we’re not trading you. You think he’d really holdout?
nets should wait for best offer. Not obligated to send him to his preferred destination. What is he going to do? Sit out his entire contract? Does he have no trade clause?
if that means sitting his *** like what rockets did to wall, then so be it

same with qai. have them stay away from the team

There's no way you're getting Durant without giving up Barnes and lots of picks. Probably have to give up one other expensive player (Siakam?) too because Barnes is on a rookie contract.
Siakim OG and 4 first rounders should do it

Durant wants out with 4 years left on his deal, it’s a problem

The jazz want out of the Gobert contract with 4 years left on the deal, that’s ok

🤔
The payer holds the cards

You hire a contractor to do a job, decide you don’t like him, get rid of him. No prob

Your contractor decides not to show up halfway through job, that’s a problem

Hey I don’t make up the rules

We are talking about basketball though

Durant played 11 less games than goober last year. He wasn’t sitting out for the sake of sitting out.

Remember when Spurs traded Kawhi Leonard in his prime for Jakob Poeltl and Thad young

True. Players do hold a lot more power than average workers but there’s still a little bit of a payer/employee dynamic

Gobert wasn’t a good example bc he probably is happy to leave

Black griffin is the better example bc he chose clippers and then was traded 6 months later

Derozen???

Goberts happiness is irrelevant. They got out of his contract with 4 years left. The clippers traded Blake which was best for the organization. All in the game. Blake turned around and started dunking when he left Detroit.

I kinda don’t think KD is worth all this.

He’s 34 when the season starts.

He’s entering the washed phase of his career soon.

I don’t think the Raptors are primed to win a ring in the next 2 years
He scored 30 a night last season

Again First Take (is it First Take? With Nick, Broussard and em) talking about Bron, KD, Kyrie, AD teaming up.

KD never gonna hear the end of it. Cant win without Steph, cant win without Bron.

If only that OKC team held together for a couple more years. :smh:

Even still

KD + Raptors doesn’t necessarily equal a Championship

Father time eventually wins

Happened to Jordan, Kobe, will eventually happen to Lebron

Kobe retired at 37
Lebron is 37

KD is 34, he probably retires after his current contract

KD isnt worth any of this! dudes not a winner without winners around him yet u need to give up half your franchise to get him.

The core in GS let this man relax n shine now hes gotta work mostly by himself any franchise willing to give in to this dudes irrational demands deserve everything they get.

Father time never caught up to Jordan... he retired on top with a championship...His ego got to him thinking he can still play at age 38 and joined a garbage wizards team for no reason lol... when Jordan went there nobody assumed he was going to compete for anything
