I think Kyrie is still with the Nets come November bc most laker fans only believed the nets would accept Russ for Kyrie if Kyrie went out of his way to be toxic and force his way to Lakers. He didn’t do that so now Nets have no pressure to make that trade, instead will wait for another team by the deadline.
Nets however are known to have been miserable last year and DO not want to experience that again. Their owner even said he’d rather be mediocre but proud of his team. He’s a proud boy

They’re tryna still stay competitive, so I agree there, but we’re one of the few teams that can give them the full trifecta.
They can get a **** ton of picks back, get a starting caliber player (Randle), and a couple of young guys (Grimes, IQ, Cam).
My point was more so that the Gobert trade ruined the short term future of trading. Teams are just gonna give up 5+ picks now for all star players? W.e happened to FRPs actually being valuable. Rather just trade that huge haul for an actual all NBA player.
