he connected with dude’s head like jermaine o’neal would’ve hit that stoopid fan had he not slipped. you already know those parents must’ve been saying and doing belligerent **** to the ref for it to lead to this. been to a bunch of AAU tourneys to watch students hoop and some families are 1000% outta pocket with refs with no response… that said, the way he face planted and was out cold is scary as hell. for both the dude and the ref, hopefully it’s nothing more serious than some bruises.

In general tho just as I am now a my kids in a sport parents with my 6yr old playing 6u tball (just aged up to softball), some of these refs be asking for it. And parents too and coaches for that matter, so with limited knowledge and looking at the fact not too many people really came to his aid, my conclusion is he had been asking for it. Also it was kind of a sucker punch so not to G on the refs part either

But imagine how his son feels, yall lost the game, guy you was guarding probably had a career high, your pops being embarrassing in the crowd as always but this time got slept so you gotta ride home with coach and them and maybe spend the night and get a ride to school tomorrow until Pops recovers

It was, the Euros was probably the biggest event/story of the summer last year. Even more than the Olympics so it's a lot more believable he'd have heard about what happened after the final, lot more than the favorite quote thing

Those players were getting support from all over the world and different sports in the aftermath to all that racist backlash from their own countrymen
