That was his only shot in the last 5 minutes. One of his 3 in the final 7 and a half.Thinking more about the Butler shot, he played a full 48 minutes on a knee & ankle that likely aren't 100%. Who's to say he had the legs to potentially finish on Horford (pause) then play overtime?
Probably not the shot you want him taking but it was a good look.
What’s also ironic is that they held Boston to 0 points for a 3 minute stretch to start the comeback. Taking Horford off the dribble to me should’ve been the move knowing 9/10 he’s gonna at least get a foul callThat was his only shot in the last 5 minutes. One of his 3 in the final 7 and a half.
Coming off 1 day of rest after playing 46 minutes the game before. He was completely exhausted
Similar to Durant last year or Jimmy Butler himself after that G5 against the Lakers.
Lowry did them no favors trying & failing to draw a foul on Grant Williams & burning that timeout, leaving them with just ONE with 9 minutes left in the game

he could have passed the ball to someone else if he ain't 100%. guess he doesn't want Max Strus to be the savior of the Heat.Thinking more about the Butler shot, he played a full 48 minutes on a knee & ankle that likely aren't 100%. Instead they ended up making a major coaching move.It was always strange to me how fast people were declaring it time for the Celtics to make major personnel moves when their with their core guys all being young and having made improvements every year.
Udoka also needs to sit with his team and review the last minute of play. Celtics were looking really inexperienced during that stretch - poor shots, turnovers and overall lack of focus.
Can't make those types of mistakes against Warriors - need to be dialed in.
